Shades of Mort'ton
Shades of Mort'ton has always been an interesting one to me. The core gameplay loop is quite fun and unique, and the ability to cash in a bunch of keys at once for rewards is very alluring - like stacking clue caskets or Slayer keys. However, the rewards from the minigame are rather lacking, so they could use a
slight
improvement.
Urum Shades and golden keys - Sounds all good to me. Suggestion: assuming the improved standard loot includes rune armour, give it a rare chance to roll a random (god-)trimmed piece instead - somewhat similar to the Columbarium released in 2008. This would create an extra incentive for Iron players to participate as they hunt for missing Treasure Trails requirements.
Art assets - 2007-style all the way. Sure, the 2004 ones are unique, but also outdated and don't match the rest of the dungeons in the region.
Wearable Coffin - Sounds good, though the blog doesn't make it very clear how exactly the size is determined. Not that it matters that much since it'll be only useful in the minigame, but it'd be nice to know.
Prayer Robes - Not really a fan of the concept look, to me it looks more like something a peasant would wear, and not very holy. I do like the proposed bonus general and shade-burning Prayer exp, but not so much the others. They should have some Prayer bonuses though, perhaps slightly higher than Proselyte.
Swampbark - I'm sure it has a place in the game in the PvP scene.
Bloodbark - So in total, blood spells would heal 65% of the damage they deal when wearing the full set? That's quite a bit. I'm not sure where it'd be worth it to bring the whole set instead of taking another approach, but it doesn't sound game-breaking to me. I like the concept, but the balance needs to be kept an eye on to make sure it's relevant while not being overpowered.
