I for one would appreciate Artisan. It's new content in a game where 80% of the updates are quality-of-life updates. Eventually, the playerbase is going to run out of nostalgia and that's when they'll start accepting these types of updates more eagerly. I play RS07 because the game was
better
and it's that quality of gameplay I'm here for. Artisan will do nothing to change that, it'll just add to it.
And I do realize my neutrality will be mistaken as offensive by some of the more zealous Artisan protesters.
In the meantime, I'm just one guy. The attention to content is a step down the right path, but you should place your feet on solid ground. The community, and myself, love the idea of a new continent. Once the Artisan poll is behind us,
that
is what needs attention. RS07 needs more quests, not more skills, though those are welcome too if all else fails.
While we're at it, more mini-games would be nice too. Some safe PvP minigames with the potential for profit. I think a lot of high level PKers aren't willing to risk their Tassets in the Wilderness but would love to use them against other players all the same. I miss Fist of Guthix. If you want to steal PvP from RS2/3, take that one, not Bounty Hunter.
And, finally, permanent F2P. We know now it won't hurt botting. Will the servers crash if F2P is added? We have too many members worlds anyway. Convert some of those to F2P. That'll rejuvenate the Wilderness, and stimulate the economy.
