Fair enough argument, but, championship rings are only earned by a select few, and usually just 1 or so per career. I've earned partyhats in a day before, earned multiple rares by camping/slaying/merching/staking. They are easy to obtain with all these methods, the only reason they have value is because gp became very very easy to get in EoC and the rares are stockpiled.
In this game, they should not have value, but would as people would buy them out and pretend they are rare even more than they do on EoC.
Unless you want to have a few Phil Jacksons and Bill Russells with all the rings and everyone else being Kwame Brown, you don't want tradeable rares.
Hah I love your analogies.
Didn't want to delve into champion ship rings, but I just wanted to create a fair similarity.
EOC money is a joke. Ever since summoning came out, everything became easier and it was like making money on steroids. With a max cash stack, you cant really go past that value so there is a cap on money there. I don't know if they increased the cap in EOC but It seems like it would hold back from the true value of a rare.
Anyways, just trying to make a logical point as to who is entitled to a rare and why. The only thing i can think of is how long people have been playing and if they were present for these drops. (I'm considering the people that have played multiple accounts)
Everyone is entitled
After the Fact
. The distribution of rares should be based on how old the account is and which rares it qualifies for.
