Why weren't minus-xp lamps polled again? If i remember correctly it had 73%-ish approval last time!

I feel like that's worth re-visiting as a large majority did actually want them.

I feel that instead of the 20 second-freeze item, (or any items that can be used to skull trick - enough of that happening already) this would be a much better alternative.

My thoughts!

Minus XP lamps should be for every skill instead of catering to just pures, imo. (also i'd like to see some hilarious underleveled HP builds)

I believe the Theatre Of Blood: Entry Mode should be available to high level players, not only max cb.

I have been a huge fan of Runescape since around 2003 when I started. Since the start up of old school, I do not have the kind of time anymore to put into the game and level up my character as extensively as I once did. I now have many other things occupying my time. I do not have the time to acquire max gear AND a max account.

This (max cb and max gear) shouldn't be a "requirement". Many of you might disagree and that is fine, we all have our opinions. In this case, only the rich and maxed cb get to benefit from this content. If it is supposed to be end game content, the developers should have clearly stated that prior to the release so we would not be getting hyped over something we thought we would be able to participate in.

I personally would love to be able to successfully tackle ToB with a group of friends. The drops do NOT need to stay the same. If you are cutting the risk in half and scaling then rare drops should be halved. I don't think that any of the rares should be taken off the drop table. Just make them more rare so that there isn't a huge fluctuation of price in game. This is one thing that is great about Raids 1, BUT with that being said, it should not be a solo-able piece of content. The group dynamic of raids is what makes it a great piece of content in my opinion. I wouldn't mind there to a cb lvl range (E.g. 100-115) such as there is in pest control where you have different boats for higher difficulty. I would definitely recommend nothing under 100 combat.

With that being said, I would love to increase the playability of ToB.

So of all the mage based suggestions made on the revenant unique thread, not ONE is being polled and of all the weapons that are being polled, they have super niche uses and are only really useful for wilderness npcs.

Over 4 years later and mage's PvP variety issues is STILL unaddressed and you are still trying to give standard's stronger binds.

Magic
does not need buffs, it needs variety
. I pked with standards exclusively..it does not need stronger binds. Anyone who says it does doesn't know what they're talking about. There is a reason that standard's binds are weaker and that is TB. If entangle/tb are properly used, not even prot from magic will necessarily save the opponent. Several if not most of my kills has been through prot from magic, with no other combat skills involved. (And I have videos to back this up) Restraint would make it
stupidly easy
for a competent mage pker to get kills.

Magic needs variety..not buffs.

EDIT: Relooking over the items, did any of them come from the rev suggestion thread you guys made? If you're going to ignore all suggestions in it....why did you even bother making the thread ?

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

Not really a fan of the whole ether always lost on death or auto skull imo. maybe make it so the skull last for 20 minutes for the amulet while in the wild and then dissapears or resets until you remove the amulet or leave the wilderness. as far as the items go i feel they might be used to lure people though. I think making it so the ether is consumed like the zulrah scales would honestly be a better option.

As a pker who also enjoys multi pking as well as single pking. I still don't understand why pvmers have to always be risking, all whilst pkers are able to use moonclan/water staff and gear worth around 60k a setup. if you really want to rejuvenate the wild start by doing something about all of the ragging, 1 iteming, and working on a proper clan system that tracks wilderness KDR for PvP CLANS. once you've fixed ragging/1 iteming you can even remove the whole ancient mace/bgs smiting and attract smaller groups of friends or even encourage pvmers to fight back. eventually encouraging people who might only pvm or skill to get involved in pvp. its not that hard lol.

LOVEEE the restraint spell. Would be wonderful now with surge spells.
Would bring much more variety to pking.

I like all the proposed ideas.

However, I believe there should be 3 similar pking weapons dropped from revs too.

Most of this poll looks amazing with the exception of a few rev rewards and especially ToB changes. It's not like ToB is the only thing for players to do in the game. Level 3 players have literally completed regular raids, which drops a 1bill twisted bow and several 50m+ items... ToB has established itself as an elite tier activity so elite players should only have access to the drops. I'm saying this as a 5 yr old lvl 118 account that'll probably never get to ToB, and I'm okay with that.

Apart from this THANK YOU for polling cactus spines and many other things, spirit tree, kitten timer, etc. great updates thanks team

To provide some perspective about why restraint is a bad idea, level 100 mages currently have anywhere between a 58-130% dps advantage (depending on specifics of gear) against a level 107 melee opponent. (They could also fight 75 attack zerkers instead and have a even higher advantage) This assumes the mage only has 45 prayer and that the opponent is 99 mage.

As I mentioned before, if entangle and teleblock are properly used, not even protect from magic will necessarily save the opponent.Considering how many times you guys have tried to buff standard's binds now, it's clear to me that you are continuously underestimating how much of an advantage teleblock is.

This also a indication of why we need alternatives. Our massive dps advantage combined with completely shutting down the opponent's escape means that when used at an appropriate time, teleblock is quite literally a two click death sentence. There is nothing the opponent can do except hope for some splashes..which isn't that likely. Once a mage learns the proper technique with standards, kills are practically guaranteed. ( And yes...this is despite the binds only being for ~7 seconds through prot from mage. A 15 second bind would be ridiculous. )

This is no fun for us, it's no fun for the opponents. Alternatives pls.

It is mentioned that rev ether will always drop from the weapons on death in the wilderness. This tells me that ragging concerns with a PvP trident is a non issue . Just do the same thing with it ….make it be charged by wraths (and they certainly need more demand) and other runes, make the runes always drop on ground upon death.

Also, f2p does need teleblock as its viability is utterly dependent on its combat utility, but a teleblock that never splashes? Seriously? It doesn't matter if it's a 1 min duration...100% accuracy on any teleblock is absolutely ridiculous. It should be no more accurate than spells.

Not a fan of the Amulet of Avarice in terms of devaluing the Amulet of Glory for Ironmen. I would suggest making the Amulet of Avarice's glory stats only be applicable in the wilderness (or reducing the stats to match a Power Amulet, but apply everywhere).
