Dont take it the wrong way, but jagex has NEVER managed to make a proper pvp score system that wasn't open to abuse, and the way i see it, in this game, its not really possible either

Fair enough. Would you mind picking through the one that was proposed in the blog, please? We hoped it'd get past most of the problems that arose before.

This is about pvp worlds, but you can suggest this in the osrs suggestions though. :)

Problem with the one in the blog is that people will just make groups (#26king on swift) and kill different people each time for points, the one in the blog is only really good for stopping 2 friends from cheating it but not on a large scale, which this would just turn out to be

The best way to create a drop system is to not even say a word about its mechanics. Make the mechanics obscure and hard to figure out by players so it's always a mystery. Kind of like the whole mystery behind Barrows loot, until recently when a jmod went through the code and gave some tips. Everything stated here is forwarded from a major corporation. Nothing here is my opinion. Enjoy your salad.

There is a big difference between the mechanics of a boss/monster drop and that of an item dropped by a player in dangerous pvp.
