looking through posts in this thread I can see that there are two concerns community have with poll.
First, there is discussion about voting requirements (qualification). Jagex chose skilltotal 100 as initial requirement for the first voting poll. Some players are saying that it is too low requirement that can be reached easily by players who dont want to play oldschool game but want to manipulate voting instead. My opinion here is that even if this can happen, it will never be massive enough to affect voting result by evil way.
Yes, skill total 100 is easy to get but if Jagex made it higher it can disqualify specialists that are training just one or two skills. Because Jagex can analyse result and can see if different part of community have different voting result, I think it can be left as it is now.
Second, there is a concern about too sharp edge between simple YES and NO, laving no space for intensity of our needs/answers. I know that Jagex do not want "I dont care" option for vonting because ti will complicate evaluation of result. But I have feeling that dividng simple YES and NO to more categories might give better outlook of community thoughs about possible future updates.
I think that having three options for YES and two for NO will cover all stands we can have: Strong YES (Yes ASAP), Strong NO (no never or I leave) normal YES (i like it), normal NO (I dont like it) and weak YES (not my favorite but acceptable).
This way Jagex will be able not only to evaluate their 75% of yes treshold but also to find out what update is most hot (and point developers on it first) or most controversial (and discuss it further with community).
For example, if there will be GWD update in next poll, and i can vote just yes or no, i will vote NO. IF there will be more options like I described above, i will vote weak YES.
