How are those lamps going to work? Can skillers use them to get their HP below 10? Will level 2 be the new level 3? What about quest rewards? Having been a skiller for the last half decade or so, it's been a very long time since I've been to Morytania. Doubt you will read this but can you poll these two items from the last poll.
1) amulet of smite - increases smite to deal 1/3 of your damage dealt to prayer increased from 1/4.
2) the ring that has a chance to activate your bolt spec more often.
They are both really good rewards and would hold a high value and didn't fail by much last time.

and finally a new addition
amulet of deflection: When a PLAYER hits your protection prayer with the attack style you are protecting from a small bit of damage is reflected. It would be stronger than a recoil but not extremely strong.

this would be good for Nh pkers are tribridders. should have similar stats to a glory maybe with +1 str.

I saw the post, sorry if I haven't replied but it doesn't mean it's gone unnoticed :)

Be mindful of the ring given we are soon bringing Dragon Bolts into the game, which may open up a lot more uses of the gem tipped bolts.

I think the Amulet may be worth re-visiting, I'll have a chat with the team.

Interesting idea with the deflection amulet too, I'd like it if we made it degrade like ring of recoils. Would this be used much though if we added both the Amulet of Peril and the Amulet of Smiting?

If you think about re-polling the amulet of smite can you consider doing something about ancient mace first? insane just how overpowered it could end up being. Also can you look at re-polling to make god d hide chaps 1 def.

Do you not remember the FORCED and fixed poll that as good as ended your main game?

I thought when you got rid of the arrogant C.E.O who was never wrong and couldn't lie straight in bed, lessons would have been learned.

Some hope eh?

A few thoughts:

1) The addition of "revenants" in the first place is permanently and deeply tied to what is near-universally viewed as the ultimate betrayal of the player base. Anything associated with them really brings back the worst, most cancerous period of the game's history; it's like anti-nostalgia, like getting daily reminders that your favourite childhood pet is still dead.

With the freedom to develop new content in any direction, why go there? Why bring this back? The caves unfortunately passed, but I guess enough people wanted *something* more to kill in the wilderness and there weren't any other options to choose from.

2) This is a more general comment towards the game as a whole: Please stop repeat-polling failed content. This version of the game is supposed to be player-driven, so instead of developing content then polling until it passes, could we have some more involvement? Poll what ways to improve the wilderness, have players submit ideas, and poll the best ones. Rev caves probably would not have passed if the full player base had been requested to submit their wilderness rejuvenation ideas.

Why do Jagex bother with polls if they are simply going to re-poll every idea that fails until it passes? I believe this kind of elitist, arrogant and patronising attitude is one the reasons why the number of players fell off a cliff on the main game.

PvP armour and keys clearly are not popular enough with your customers so why not move on and think of alternative awards? There is already too much overpowered gear on the game and the proposed PvP armour only makes the game unbalanced even further.

I will continue to vote 'no'.

PvP armours, yes you are right they definitely weren't popular enough and didn't pass for a reason. Keys, however got 74% and only didn't pass because of chinese/venezuelan gold farmers voting no. So you, are stupid.

Do you not realize the irony in you calling someone else "stupid" while sounding so stupid yourself?

I mean seriously.. I understand that you want to blame somebody for the failure of something you wanted.. but claiming it "only didn't pass because of chinese/venezuelan gold farmers voting no" makes you look especially stupid considering a Chinese company OWNS THE GAME.

I'm not "chinese/venezuelan" nor a "gold farmer" but I voted No and I'll do it again.. because this old game has enough crap in it (and they haven't yet offered a static server that gets no updates).

So stop blaming "chinese/venezuelan gold farmers" for you not getting what you wanted out of a poll.

No, means NO, no matter who voted no.

Actually according to this public newsletter( reference1: http://infocoin.net/en/2017/09/22/venezuelan-gold-farmers-are-selling-runescape-items-for-bitcoin/ ), there were at least 1 million goldfarmer accounts in 2009. For runescape things have seen a slight downturn, arguably, since that period.

-If we analyze the poll we see a very very small number of total votes on the 'Loot-Key' question: 35 983.
-As well the question missed passing by only 1.1% which is a paltry 396 votes.
-And goldfarming in the particular way mentioned in reference1 newsletter has been significantly rising this year, hence the newsletter, and it is now very noticeable in the form of green dragon killer-farmers, as this is mentioned in particular in reference1.
-Botting green dragons is also still with us.

Because of these points it can easily be seen how even under 400 votes(especially from green dragon killer-farmers but from green dragon bot horde-owners as well) have overturned and made this single vote on the 'Loot-Key' inaccurate.

And "No, means NO, no matter who voted no." NOT if the ones who placed those votes are not legitimate players of the game! And don't even dare to argue goldfarmers and those that control many bots are legitimate players of the game!
