I'll be voting 'NO' to the PvP equipment, for 2 reasons. I don't think the armors are a very good update for the same, as the PvP armor was almost always 'staker tier' equipment that nobody in the right mind without loads and loads of money ever used. Also, don't want the armor if there's no weaponry to go with it.

If the weapons were polled, I'd vote yes to those for sure. The weapons were actually usable by average players as spec weapons. The decision to not even poll the weapons is the first choice the OSRS team has made in a while that I strongly disagree with.

Also, I really think the Mage Arena update should introduce a new Zaros God Staff, Spell, and Cape, rather than just upgrading the current cape.

Finally, this update overall just seems really half-assed compared to the first Wildy Rejuv. update.

read my post. lol. we already have ancient staff, and spellbook we can have utility instead of content.

Mage Arena II Tweak:

"Mage Arena II is the next step in this miniquest series and offers challengers a brand-new best in slot magic cape! Getting hold of such an item won't be easy though. For anyone that has completed the original Mage Arena and unlocked the ability to cast all God spells outside of the Mage Arena, Kolodion will task those with 75+ Magic to track down and defeat 3 brand-new bosses, found in random locations within deep multi-combat Wilderness and only being damaged with specific God spells."

My proposal is to bring a 4th Mage cape into the game, The Zarosian Mage Cape

The cape itself would be an end result of killing 1/3 bosses and receiving a "Shadow heart" This heart would be (Zarosian Based) and would be accepted by Kolodion, with 2 other regular heart pieces. I do recommend having this be somewhat of a rare drop while completing the new mini-game.

If this seems a bit too quick, the heart can always be broken into 3 pieces itself. Roughly the same concept, while killing all 3 bosses for their hearts. A "Shadow Heart Shard" would be dropped as well with 1 of the hearts. Combining them all together would result in a Shadow Heart which could be traded to Kolodion by itself for a Zarosian Mage Cape.

The purposes of this cape would allow you to cast ancient magicks with a Staff of The Dead and Toxic Staff of The Dead. This could be taken into consideration with both the toxic/normal Tridents as well.

A lot of players do tend to use ancients with these weapons whether it is in multi fights, single fights. However, there is no auto cast option on them. The cape would simply allow that to be possible. No improved damages aside from what the cape already consists of, or Stuns, Venoms, etc.

Personally whenever I PK I am always maging and I always use a staff of the dead (Toxic), and i always thought to myself "I wish we could."

The loot key seems far too overpowered. It makes pkers even more dominant and powerful over pvmers in the wilderness. There has to be an element of risk on both sides. If the pker obtains a ton of loot from someone, part of the risk comes in them making space for the loot by sacrificing food, potions etc. Also, having to bank to deposit and regear is an essential part of the pk trip cycle; you can't just have pkers camping spots with no period of being absent. You're essentially making it even less risky for the pker which is silly considering the pvmer in the wilderness is already vulnerable and outmatched 99% of the time.

No to all please. If you wish to rejuvenate the wild, leave skilling/BiS rewards out of it.

- Offer cosmetic rewards. For example, amazing looking cosmetic armor and cool pets.
- Offer unique abilities as rewards, like special teleports or increased Agility in the Wild.
- Create PvP seasons with a PvP leader board for the highest PKs/killing blows.

But until the mechanics of the Wilderness are changed so that it's not possible for 10 people to gang up on 1 person, I will not be voting for any benefit to skilling or providing BiS equipment in the Wild. Examples like...

...are exactly why the Wilderness isn't fun to the majority of your players.

You should consider offering players some form of temporary immunity after PKing someone or killing the PKer.

Why new revenant PVP armour? People will go there to make money, why not make the high leveled monsters drop cash stacks instead? And can wilderness altar unnote bones automatically? I feel more bones will be risked instead of dying, grab bones, ghorak telle, repeat. Can you only attack Kolodian with a skull on your head? Vambraces don't have a defence req usually, so 40 def doesn't make too much sense, make it a ranged lvl req. LOOT KEYS ARE AMAZING! Would still love to see a new area above mage's bank though.

Will be voting no to pvp armours unless they are disabled outside of the wilderness (and pvp worlds too i guess? Although I think having them be "Wilderness armours" would be fine) Dont' want to have to waste god knows how much money every time I war in clan wars or maybe want to do competitive castle wars etc.

I don't post in the forums too often, but my opinion is extremely strong in regard to this dev blog.

I'm honestly quite surprised that you won't even consider the inclusion of corrupt items, or the PvP weapons with the release of revs. There isn't any additional information regarding this subject in the blog whatsoever as well, and that's discouraging to see as somebody who has been waiting since day 1 of OSRS to hopefully have a chance to see these weapons return.

"We cannot offer the weapons..." is the only insight we received regarding this, and that's just extremely disheartening to hear.

Hopefully we can receive some insight regarding the reasoning as to why the weapons can't be offered, OR maybe hear back regarding a means of a potential compromise to make the inclusion of these fun weapons a possibility. It would be AWESOME to see corrupt PvP weapons make a return to the game.

Any insight regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
