yeah turn my fire cape, torso, barrows gloves, & rune defender into cash when i die. sure this is a great idea. this is poorly thought out. untradeables should be KEPT on death. not alched & given to the scummy kid who used his moms credit card to acquire an overpriced god sword that runs around with his sharks that boost str & att & prevent poison from the new GREAT artisan skill. These two implications to the game will further ruin RUINEDscape.

You need to add rewards into BH when you poll it or the thing is useless and dead content. As it stands right now, I'd rather go PK in edge or in a PvP world where I can get a fight in a matter of seconds instead of cruising around in the wilderness and waiting 10 minutes for a target and then go on a wild goose chase.

There isn't any incentive for me to use BH because there are no rewards. Given past history, there was mention of wanting to poll rewards for PvP worlds yet nothing has come of that at all.

You guys are shooting yourselves in the foot with this.


Absolutely in agreement with this. As others have said, an incomplete and rushed addition of content is exactly the opposite of what this community wants. I believe I can speak for all of us when I say this. As proposed, Bounty Hunter is relatively useless and will steer the pking community into the opposite direction. What is needed is something that gives players the motive to jump into bounty hunter. Not existing pkers, but even those who skill or solely PVM. You need to promote incentives that appeal to all categories of players. Let's face it, player killing is dying out slowly but surely and it's been proven time and time again that will lead to the downfall of our beloved game. The dev team has been doing a wonderful job with the game thus far, and I have been playing since day #1 of Oldschool's release. Please take your time with this release and listen to us. The majority of us have been pushing for changes and reconsideration of this update. Thank you for listening to us, we only want the best for the future of Oldschool :)

My target can hide in a multi zone with a clan of 30 people.

For as long as they like.

This was horribly designed in the previous version of bounty hunter, and it's a horrible design now. I can't bounty hunt anybody if they're hiding behind a wall of 30 bad pkers.

I distinctly remember myself waiting for 2 hours for targets to get their ass out of multi and come fight me. There was no way I'd ever have a chance of killing them in multi.

On top of this, what's stopping me from entering the wilderness with 50k risk, and then trading it to someone who will bank it for me? Or some other way to already be in the wilderness and relieve yourself of that risk.

10 levels is too great of a gap. The best version of bounty hunter generally assigned you a target of the exact same combat level, +/-2. Very rarely (like 1/50 targets) did I ever get someone more than 4 combat levels apart from me.


The lack of even talk of potential incentives makes this super dull as well.


I imagine they are doing the 10 level gap because they know how inactive this will be, if they made this the same as 2010 bh worlds it would be packed and we wouldn't need a 10 level gap but they don't want to do that.



I'd rather wait longer than lose a fight before it begins (or subsequently win a fight before it begins, that's not fun).

Glad Artisan and BH aren't being released both are going to be rushed by a team of 6 j mods and require two buffs which will require polls which need 75% community approval to pass for bounty hunter. 5/21/2017 The day I claimed ownership of the Old School Content Suggestions.

THIS GAME NEEDS BOUNTY HUNTER WORLDS SIMILAR TO THE 2010 ERA.

Reduce the amount of gold brought into the game by adding a slight nerf to the statues. This system would benefit the game immensely. It creates a massive item sink, and encourages pkers to skill and skillers to pk with brawlers. It is a win-win for the entire wilderness ecosystem.

THIS IS NOT HARD

PK'ing needs to be rewarding to actually start this-
A 50K risk is not covering the costs of Prayer potions, sharks and other supplies to actually start PKing.

Secondly, The Wilderness needs to be filled up more, if this passes the PvP community will be split even more then it currently is.

I votes yes, but honestly alot of things need to change to make this work.

generating gold for untradeables is bad idea there items not gold, takes away incentive to get them and use them, their hard to get, would drive people away from bounty hunter thats got them which people would want to use these since they've put so much work in them, working on the drop and pick up and try to add risk could be worked on but not by taking away from items like void by turning them into gold for example,having to stand around and wait for a target even if it is 10 lvl rng is bad since u'll prolly see someone within 10 lvls in that time and if rankings are the only incentive at time then not good since u can also stand around and wait at wildy/pvp worlds and still get ur untradeables, there should be an npc that first time target is free to test ur skills in cmb if u lose its 10k for next target because it would be waste of time for npc to find one otherwise and if u win then its free all the way till u lose then u will retain the fee of 10k till you win since u've lost ur edge in pking, and the npc will look for someone closest to ur cmb lvl and cmb stats and this will be an incentive to pay to get the most desirable match then if there isnt one to close it will expand search to within 10 cmb lvls under and/or over, still no to extra drops still no to tele to target, and no to alching untradeables,
