I just don't understand what people are thinking tbh. This is just kind of sad at this point... Wildy sucks, killed pre eoc.

I know it's kinda silly how blind people are... They dont understand the best and most members this game has had was the BH world era WITH a trade limit...

Edit:I voted no for BH because this developer blog was literally horse ****.

The fact that you think 2009/10 was the best years with the most players just shows how delusional you are.

Thanks for being reasonable. I haven't given a specific number that the stats should increase, it's really up the Jagex to determine what some reasonable bonuses should be. I believe that the concept (maybe it would work differently in game, but the concept itself) is fair. It's a pretty good incentive to earn BH points as it can be used as a special armour to use to maximize your special attacks, and if your opponent so chooses, they can risk dying and take advantage of your lower defensive stats and kill you. Perhaps there is a better ratio than 3:2 in terms of how your stats change, maybe the defensive stats should be further lowered, perhaps a ratio of 9:4 or 9:5 (closer to 5:4) would be better. As a concept I think that it could compensate for the lack of current incentives. Whether or not my idea would work well in practice is irrelevant as it would

The problem with that is that you could flick gear. There's actually no downside in having a weapon that gives negative bonuses if you can weild it in the tick that your attack turn comes. Same goes for defensive gear. It works much like pray flicking.

The Old School Runescape team is a good one. I'm sure that between themselves they can come up with a pretty good fix that makes it so that it can't be abused like that. They've made similar fixes so that things cannot be so easily abused.

How about introducing small rewards at first like pk supplies.
Each time you kill someone you get 1 point. Each point can be traded in for, for example, 20 sharks/ 2 pray pots/ 4 sara brews/ runes/ bolts ect ect.
It's not much but would go some way towards covering pk costs and would give some advantage to pking in BH over anywhere else. Also with rewards this low i can't see people putting the effort in to try and abuse the system.

I just want to clear up some things because it appears that everyone doesn't quite understand economics....

Statuette drops and other bonus drops = much more cash in game = inflation =
more players demanding high level items and supplies = AGS, bandos, Prayer pots and such all rise due to increasing demand. However in the long run this does pose a problem where there is simply too much cash but can be countered with new money sinks such as degrading armours.

Meaning with bonus drops pkers would also see a rise in earnings while their 1M doesn't buy them as much as it did before and PVMers see an increase in their sought after drops as well. Really everyone makes more GP, it just gets them less than before. Items also get removed from the game increasing their value even more. Purchasing power still remains fairly the same but the amounts are higher than before.

It doesn't "GF" the economy like everyone says because I doubt they even understand what is happening.
If people remember back in 2010 BH prices were at an insane high with AGS being well over 100m and DFS and Bandos being over 30m. Even a whip was 4m.
Overall I don't see a purpose in throwing out BH without further discussing rewards because it is just a reason for people to continue arguing.
The previous EP system was flawed but overall increased wilderness activity due to needing to be out there to receive more money and PKing could be very profitable even if you are an average PKer getting 1 kill per 1 death. It also created a great item sink with reducing loads of whips and other items from the game so it isn't like RS3 where a whip is alch value. Getting a whip PK actually meant a large deal and with people losing loads of barrows in BH, other game activities became more useful as well with an increase in many item values.

Basically if you read anything just know the economy is not destroyed by bonus loots and don't let a lack of understanding sway an important game decision

This shows how illiterate you are. The best players [in terms of friendliness] and the most members [The most subscribed people]. Go fact check silly noob.

If you started in 2009 I can see why you think like this. If you actually played pre 06/07, you must either have had a memory loss, or simply delusional.

The game had the best community in 06-07, if not earlier. Most players, and members was in 2007.
