Therefore GP is the only sensible reward from these PvP worlds via statuette drops. Will the GP hurt the economy? Yes, but so will every other option. At least this way, they're able to tax this GP out of the game via other aspects of the game. There are tons of successful games that have great economies due to these sort of taxing methods. Methods that allow people to enjoy the game, while keeping GP out of the game efficiently. Whether it be taxing the new Grand Exchange (which would do wonders), or adding in a new base of taxing throughout the entire game via shops, teleporting, etc.

There's a ton of ways to battle GP coming into the game, but you can't do anything about there being too many items.

I just don't understand "I want to pk but I do not want to lose m0oney at all"
Pk is a risk. They should not be Well I know this person has at least this much money on him.and even if i lose the 2 kills i got Earlier covers my gear lost.So i got some room to gamble on this kill.

you are coming across like if its not gp you ae not open to any other suggestions. You seem to be close minded to this whole thing. Not to be rude but gp is not always the answer

Nope, you just lack brain cells and can't keep up with the clear point I'm making. You'd rather ride the bandwagon of "WOW GP RUINS ECONOMY" rather than face it with easy remedies.

3. Items for PvP only. If items came out for PvP only, say PvP armors that only worked in the wilderness, these items wouldn't be worth it either. People PK for money to use outside of PKing, at least most of us do. You can't turn PvP armors into
[/quote]

4. PvP specific items would have to be better than regular item thus unbalancing pking more since the people who pk often would most likely have those items and someone w ho rarely PK's would be put at a disadvantage since he would not have said item.

The only viable solution i found myself is that:

make the required risk level-dependant instead of a flat-rate, here is an example of what i'm talking about:

lvl 3-30 = 25k alc risk
lvl 30-50 = 50k alc risk
lvl 50-75 = 75k alc risk
lvl 75-100 = 100k alc risk
lvl 100+ = 200k alc risk

this way you don't "add" gold into the economy you just move it around more and it would make for better loots in general in my opinion. I think it would be a good middle ground between people who don't want incentive and people who want statuettes

But you're comprehending of people going to Armadyl boss and soloin* Armadyl hilts for 60m+ while using 300k inventories a run? This game is based off of profit. Like I said though, you're stupid. Don't worry about it.

So you are saying....Pking shouldnt be profitable? LM*** thats the whole incentive to PK.

Skilling...Make money
PVM...Make money
PVP....You want us to lose money? DAFUQ?
Pking is supposed to be lucrative, however it is the least lucrative of any method at the moment.

Lmao, people only want EP and statuettes back because it was extremely easy money for zero effort. Everyone seems to forget that in the 'glory' days of 26/76king the wild would have 95% people farming EP and 5% people actually pking. playing rs since 1976, 40 year vet cape soon

@GoinDownKid

That's also another good alternative. You pay 50k every time you enter the wilderness and for each kill of a target (you'd probably have to enter the wilderness quite a few times before you got your target), you'd get a chance at a good bonus drop. This would allow profit as well as unlucky drops into the PvP system which would be great.

That mixed with taxing the Grand Exchange and the economy could do nothing but get better.

If money wasn't the objective of pking..we'd just PvP in cw, clan wars, dual arena, etc instead. You mention the risk. Why do people risk? Due to the potential of obtaining the opponent's risk.
OSRS Mage Tank.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.
