Will vote no unless the wild is the bounty hunter "arena". Just add the target system to the wild.

No need for seperate area/a crater, it's only going to split activity in the wild even further.

I've read all these previous 7 pages and what is most remarkable about most of them is that there is consensus that introducing another stand alone feature to pvp would divide the pvp community. The only reasonable solution would be a merger or some sorts or even a limiting of already existing pvp features to allow for a new pvp feature.

SMALL PVP POPULATION keep that in mind.
With that out of the way I would like to elaborate how a simple sacrifice can really give people something slightly different but more of a genuine pvp experience.
The pvp worlds and wilderness is competing for pvpers which is making each area less active in certain times of the day.

If people wish for a bounty hunter with the target mechanics, rewards, and inclusion they can have it BUT ONLY BY SACRIFICING PVP WORLDS, (maybe leave 1 pvp world for a compromise).

The reason is that there just isn't enough players to divide among 3 different risked pvp activities, so one feature must inevitably be removed to make way for a new pvp feature. Sacrificing most if not all the pvp worlds is only the first step because the question still remains, how to implement Bounty Hunter?

I propose what others have said before me put the Bounty Hunter mechanics in the Wilderness and have the pvp worlds be replaced with Bounty Hunter Wilderness worlds. That way finding targets is reasonable in that amount of landmass and it should fit nicely with the limited number of pvpers on oldschool. By doing so, the wilderness as a whole would become more lively and you also get a bounty hunter mechanic.

Also to make the bounty hunter feel more like the original why not make entering Wilderness in a Bh world similar meaning once you enter you are placed randomly in the wilderness and you cannot just teleport out. Landmass size is an issue so that needs to discussed future. Rest of the mechanics (exits, rewards, penalties, etc) would be up to the player's to vote on.

Just one world designated to bounty hunter (in the wilderness) would be fine, we can see that PvP worlds aren't really that active. As of writing this, world 337, the high risk pvp world has the least population of any members world. I would want no more than 2 bounty hunter worlds, one for normal bounty hunter, and the other being a high risk bounty hunter world. Though it may even be beneficial to replace one of the existing PvP worlds with a bounty hunter world instead and just have one.

I don't think a separate area is needed for bounty hunter. The only thing that may be considered from bounty hunter craters is some sort of 'penalty' for killing non-targets, perhaps you could disable protect item or something?

It needs to be fun and rewarding, even if I lose, so figure out how to reward someone who loses and more people will PK.

@Transcendent
Do you also ask for participation awards? Seriously, you want to be rewarded for being bad? That's the most asinine thing I've read in a while. They had something like that before called the 75K trick and look what that did with the economy.
Either adapt or you don't belong. This isn't kindergarten sandbox class.

Don't complain then if not many players participate.

Whether you like it or not there is a problem in PKing that only the best or the most lucky in some cases gain while everyone else loses things.

PKers who profit don't need incentive to keep PKing, they are already making profits and are rewarded for it.

But the players who attempt to PK and lose do need incentive to keep PKing, and they need to be able to replace their gear less painfully. So why not reward players who lose their gear in PVP with at least a chance at better drops in PVM, or something to compensate them for their losses, so they can replace their gear at least?

The winner should gain more, but a player who loses should not have so much loss they never want to PK again, unless that is the goal to have an empty wild like in EOC where players won't risk anything because they risk losing everything.

I'm telling you straight up, there is a reason I don't PK, and it is in large part the fact the matches are not fair at all, and I know I will most of the time lose everything, so its not worth going into PVP areas or to risk anything, because there is too much risk and loss and too little to no gain for me.

If I knew if I lost my armour I would at least get better PVM drops or better skilling after, to help me regain what I lost, it might not be as bad a risk and more worth doing some.
Hi.

I'm ok with BH if it's an arena outside of wild (like somewhere near West of Uzer/North of Nardah since that place is huge and has nothing worth to walk to) OR if it's just like the pvp worlds based with the arrow in the wild like someone said before.

The crater in wild is totally annoying, people will just stand near the entrances to void and AGS rush nothing more, there's no enough people for it to work in the long run (only if it's released like this again) and also it's a waste of space in the already crowded wilderness.

We do not need dead content, the crater will be one after few weeks of release because no one wants a rusher/DD spot again.

To whom it may concern,

I have been a paying member for the last 5 years and the main reason I continue to play this game is for the player killing aspect that I've grown to love. Throughout my years on this game, I've made countless pures in the attempt of maximize my playing experience. When 2007scape came out, I was exicted to relive my childhood and make the pures I loved to play on but soon after the pvp world update (which I personally voted aganist), the pking community has been going down a downwards spiral and if this update passes, it would divide the little pkers that remain which would make pking almost impossible..

My best ideas of saving the pking community would be as followed :

1. To prevent raggers and looters, you should only be able to step foot in a pvp area if you're risking a minimum of 50k or whatever the jagex mods decide.

2. MAKE ONE PKING AREA, NOT 3. I personally feel bh worlds with targets and EP was the best time for pking on this game. The only tweak I would add to this content would be obtaining what you killed your opponent for aswel as artifacts depending on your ep

I understand I'm a nobody asking for quite a bit but this is not just my opinion, it is a census in the pking community and I feel if passed, it would be fruitful for jagex the company in the long run.

Thank you, Dickass Pure.

I really enjoyed the bounty hunter worlds. I would actually appreciate if the fighting system of bounty worlds changed. For example people would fight each other and then your bounty person would just run away or have one of their friends to weaken you and then they come in for the kill.

I really enjoyed the craters also, but the only big problem was that everyone was teamed up and if you were a loner, you would die no matter what. I would like if there was a 1v1 section for the crater and then a team section.

Both options were good due to the rewards.
