My only concern is that you need the fire cape to enter the city. Thats pretty harsh for players that for whatever reason cant beat jad, be it not great at prayer switching, combat level or whatever. Surely a more reasonable measure is to pay Tokkul to enter the city and for those that do have the fire cape, make it free.
I feel like opening the infernal eel should have a smithing or crafting level associated with it like slicing open the zulrah eel does. Maybe require 75-80 crafting to crack open the eel and award some experience along with that? MAybe a combo requirement of 75 crafting and fire making.

great update! cant wait to have a go in the inferno this evening. one bit of constructive criticism I have is the fishing is a little underwhelming. the xp and gp are both much less than monks as well as more effort. the idea is good though and the design on the inferno is amazing!
Happy to buff them should we feel it needs it; we'll see over the course of the week.
Thanks for the response. Really like what I have seen of the inferno whilst watching on the sly at work. cant wait to be killed wave 20 tonight! The idea of the pillars is brilliant, having to work for your safe spots! If the eels could be looked at over the week then that would be awesome bearing in mind it has much higher requirements than monks! Good to see a good update after such a controversial one. Also ignore the twitter haters on the thieving elements as proven in the last update its best to nerf it now than in two years.
Personally im not gonna bother with any of the new content this update added.
I have 0 use for Infernal cape, +4 str, while nice bonus, isnt that big of a deal really. All current Melee boss fights etc are easy and fast enough with the good old fire cape. New cape is something that those who eventually manage to come victorious can show off, props to them
Fishing and thieving i found bad, theres better options out there for both money and xp for these 2 skills.
Here im waiting for fossil island, maybe it delivers something that catches my interest.
New login screen looks really cool though.

You dun good again this week jagex.. and that pic in the devblog is awesome. Don't cave to the few cryin' over not being able to access the city.. and don't give them an easier way in.. it's not like it's the best fishing in the game so if they can't meet the reqs it just gives them something to work toward.

Gonna wait and see how this all play out. I don't want to get rip to shreds by just blindly walking in there attempting it unprepared and wasting millions worth of supplies and times. Waiting for the guide and videos so it can help me get through it. Cool update and all and loving the lava fishing and the new theiving and the new armor but i could of personally do without the infernal cape. The inferno cape should of just stayed in rs3 should not have made it in osrs rs3 element slowly seeping in. Barely made it pass jad so this is gonna be one hell of a grind.
+ A good and fun challenge.
+ Rewards are rewarding but not overpowered.
+ Highly stream-able content to help promote the game.
+ A good and fun challenge.
+ Decently balanced.
+ Did I mention a good and fun challenge?
Try to focus on these positive bullet points when considering future updates. Too many of your updates are broken, overpowered or not purposeful enough.
