I don't agree with this version. Its just grand exchange under another name. Just because shes got a rich girl name doesn't mean shes not a cheap **********. I wanna see a system in game for players to post their advertisements for trades but not a system that facilitates that trade. This system allows players to do AFK merching and further devalues skilling for profit because the players who won't spam for good deals now can just buy it while they are offline or doing other things.

Please don't do it. This would ruin Old school. This is basically another Grand Exchange. The only reason in opinion that people play old school it's because of the combat system and the interacting of trading items.

LOVE the idea. I hated the Grand Exchange and love seeing the busy marketplace at Varrock West Bank, its extremely nostalgic.

This is pretty much like the Old School Price Guide and Exchange on "you know who's" website, but its integrated into the game which is nice.

2 suggestions:

If the seller wants to sell their item in piecemeal, there should be an option to have a minimum amount someone has to buy.

Also, personally I think the trade should expire around 1-2 hours after a player logs out.

Well, you're half right. But the reason people DON'T play OSRS is because of the trade system.

It will be an utter mess without an official price for each item. The idea is you're representing the anti-GE players, because they're the ones that would oppose an official price (they oppose virtually everything GE related).

What you'll be doing, however, is killing player-player trade. If you want to continue trading without the Auction House, you're screwed. There won't be a zbz to quickly check a market price, there won't be a web-based price guide, and the trade interface won't help you either. You and the other trader will have to guess, and that's simply not going to work. What will happen? it will be like what GE did to player-player traders all over again, except this time, it won't just usher them to use the solution, it will FORCE them.

I dont want to know who im trading with, i just want the item to be sold or bought. i think this is a stupid idea. It wont be oldschool rs with this. Its going to turn in to a failure like rs3.
