You people act like you actually do bartering anymore. The only way to trade anymore is use a third party website or spam v west. That's not face to face trading in the real meaning of the phrase. All the auction house would do is save you time.

sounds perfect

23rd May 16:00 BST - Many of you have asked to be able to buy part of an offer instead of the all or none approach. We can give the seller an option to allow his trade to be sold only as one trade or piecemeal. If the trade is set to be piecemeal buyers can choose how many of an item they want to buy from the individual trade.

glad you added above^

Players have also asked for the trade to expire a certain amount of time after a player has gone offline - how long do you think is suitable?
i don't mind on this, perhaps 8 hours?

I really hope this is not going in the game. ffs guys, this isn't what i signed up for....

All this new content is bringing players back. The player count is rising

Isn't that a good thing?

And it's rising because of what exactly? Let's be honest, runescape was most popular during 2007-2009. Jagex made update after update trying to create another WoW or Maplestory, or what ever. First they ruined hp system. Then they added ovl, curses, Overpowered weapons as dclaws and korasi which basically 1hit you. Then came graphic updates, cant tell difference between any trimmed, golded, god or h1-h5 armour. They look ugly. They brought solomons store and spins in desperate attempt. It really feels like jagex workers are from mental institution or smth? what are jagex "community workers" doing who are suppose to research what playerbase want. They limited trade for some time. They lost wild and pvp completely. Skills are made too easy. prayer 99,slayer 99 at 2007 was elite. Now its just east.

And player base dropped dramatically. It was very simple yet fun game before. Now combat in eoc is like rocket sience. Jagex ruined it and they know it. Why do you think they removed trade limits, brought back wild and they brought back rs2007. They know they made a mistake and tried to fix it in eoc with stupid updates, but failed. now brought back 2007. Biggest joke in rs history is solomons store. Nice way to get money jagex.

They won't let f2p play 2007 because it will not be profitable? Rs2007 is more profitable than eoc. ALL rs2007 players are p2p, while not all eoc player are p2p. And rs2007 dev team is smaller and servers cheaper. They could bring back glory days of 2007, if they just let f2p players play it. Don't ruin 2007 again like you did last time.

Did you seriously brought 2007 back to ruin it again???

Since there are many people supporting the idea and many people hating the idea why not try out the idea for a week or two.

If the idea turns out to be a success, keep it. Otherwise turn back to the trading system of nowadays and work with the players towards a great solution. It is good to learn from updates that can be right or wrong.

I don't think this would work, i think opening this for two weeks could have long-lasting effects on the economy.

How about a trial period of one week and having another poll among the players and 75% of positive votes needed to pass the idea?

If anyone is going to "ruin" the game it will be the players, not Jagex.
The players decide and vote on what will be going in-game.
And it's not even majority rule! 75% of the player-base need to be in favour of it for it to pass!

Can someone explain me what is wrong with current trading system? It's hard to get items you want? Is it merchanters, you don't like? Is it waste of time selling and buying items? Merchanters are everywhere in real life and they won't dissapear from game. Hard to get items and waste of time? It's the point of the game, it has to be hard, so that there is a difference between nolifers and noobs. If you want easy trading, easy skilling, go play eoc please. Eoc bosses were suppose to be most hard in rs lol. You can solo every single one of them. Yet kalphite queen is still stronger than 2 bandos bosses together. Thats the game I love, challenging and hard to succeed.

So, you're saying that having a trade system that literally challenges you is beneficial to OSRS?

I agree, bosses should be hard, but trading should be simple.

And don't relate this to IRL. Merchants exist in real life because they have to. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. End consumers can't just buy from factories. But, if there was some miraculously efficient way of doing so, it would be embraced. So there.

Current W1/W2 trading is a pain. To skill and level up or accomplish my goals I would have to LITERALLY spend a day on a trading world stocking up on what I might need.

I have bad eyes and am extremely prone to migraines and having to blow my eyes out trying to find the one post I saw that might be what I'm looking for amidst all the screaming, flashing down right HECTIC mess is enough to make me just give up and buy what I need quickly from the first over-priced auto-spammer I can find.

This is a game right? We are suppose to have fun right?

While Zy was up and free of the hackers/scammers/viruses that it now has in abundance, I would use that. It was perfect. I could get what I needed and you all got to keep your colourful mess that is Varrock.

The AH is NOT what I was hoping for but it's a decent compromise and I'll vote Yes and hope that 75% agree. That is all we can do.

If you don't want it, vote no. That is your right as part of our community.

My point is that merchanters will always be in this game and they won't disappear unless jagex makes it impossible to merchant. And There are always people who take advantage of others in game and in real life. In game it's impatient players who are willing to sell cheap and buy higher price.

How is new trading system more beneficial to game than current?
Let's give 2b to every player and max everyones total level, would that be fun game to play? When I first started rs, it took me 6 months to get a rune armour set, and I loved that time when i explored the game and everything was hard*

My aim is not to offend anyone. Neither is the owner of the videos.

Have you even played rs before 2010?
Why was this game so popular before and not anymore? Though I know there was big amount of botters. You would surely like botters, cheap supplies. You like easy game.
