I hope this comes out soon. I just got scammed for 3m because I didnt pay attention on what I was buying.

I was buying air orbs and a guy named BrainFreedom, who gives me unpowered orbs instead and I accepted (and I hope he gets banned, I'm so angry right now).

I'm was scammed like that a lot of times and if the trades keep the same, it will happen to me again and with a lot of other people. I stopped to play on 2007 because of that and I'm sure I was not the only one who quit because of that.

Jagex did a great job on that trading solution. Thank you.

This is really stupid. There is nothing wrong at all with the trading system, people are just complaining that there's no G.E. and are too lazy to actually try getting their items. And all this "auction house" is is rs trying to eliminate zyb considering I can't even type their own name. Why does jagex hate them so much?

This is pretty much my perfect GE.

Let players set the price, auction house, see who you're trading with aswell as competitive pricing.

Only thing is, is there any way we can filter out results by price, maybe most recent (the most recent 20), etc? Otherwise I can imagine the auction list thing being extremely long.

Something else I would really like is a bid system, that's one of the main advantages of an auction house imo and it wouldn't really feel like a proper auction house without some way of bidding. An option for players to either make it a bid (with a starting price) or a set price would be perfect.

I will admit I'm lazy and don't want to waste my valuable time trying to find someone selling anchovies or something. So yes you're right. I'm lazy.

My thoughts exactly.

To be completely honest with you, this is EXACTLY what I thought the GE was GOING to be back in late 2007 and early 2008, and that is why I was excited for it. I think this could work out quite well, but I am concerned that if we are literally scrolling through offers, it could become quite cluttered in the trading window. I DEFINITELY agree selling offers should have the OPTION to be all or nothing, or to sell some slowly over time, so that people can give good deals to get the item faster, and in terms of the clutter, yes, I definitely think there should be a time limit on offers. Perhaps 2 hours after the person has logged out? Or just some arbitrary time after the person has logged out that their offer can still sell. If it doesn't sell in this time, then it comes right off the market.
