I hope that there will be a place for the auction house to be put. What I mean by that is the ge was placed in a certian spot and it would be cool for the auction house to be placed at a certain spot
Runecrafting is like bacon.

I'm looking forward to the update as long as I can get what I need fast and conveniently. For the people complaining that it doesn't feel like "Oldschool RuneScape" consider Nightmare Zone or The Wilderness Rejuvination or the Gnome Stronghold Slayer Dungeon. None of those things are in RuneScape 3, the game itself is not oldschool with or without this Auction House.

first, i do like this idea, and i think there should be an area like the GE for this. i wouldn* want people going out and doing slayer, then selling all their drops, and buying more food, without ever leaving.

second, i think offers should expire, but im torn on the time limit. maybe trying to sell 5k of something would take a while, so having it set to expire after 168 hours would be too short of a timespan. maybe set the expire rate to 72 hours if nobody buys one piece of the product. so youre selling 5k cannonballs, people buy em 100 at a time (for whatever reason), and the offer stays there until either A) theyre all gone, or B) nobody buys any from you for 72 hours. or maybe mix it together, 72 hours, at least 1 must sell, or 168 hours, they must all sell. im cool with whatever, i probably will be buying way more than selling, haha.

third, if its gonna be called an auction house, there should be a time limit on products set to sell all at once. a minimum offer for them, and then whoever has the highest bid when the time limit expires gets it. obviously, this wouldnt work for items set to sell as piecemeal, as anyone who doesnt buy the most of em at one time would lose every time.

finally, i think there should be no option to put a "buying X for Y price" and waiting for people to sell it. i think you should look from a list of sellers, not look from a list of buyers.

TBH here, the 'player interaction' is usually no more than "ty" (a MUTUAL ty if you're lucky), or an "eff you, Im not paying that"; then most people are in a hurry to get back to the quest/clue or whatever they're doing that they had to stop for an hour or so to collect their needed items. If they don't want to wait 3 days for something they don't have the skill level to make themselves, then they pay 10-20k for an item worth 50gp, even though they can't really afford it, but they don't have much choice. The GE WAS here in 07 btw... and even thought it isn't for everyone, I for one miss being able to walk up and sell my items instantly or buy my needed item instantly, then get back to what I'm doing. Have a clue scroll? Ok, I'll run to GE and start my clue in 3 minutes. Yes, I'll meet my buddies at clan wars in just a minute, let me run to GE and buy a DDS. I had much more player interaction while I'm skilling, or at clanwars, then standing in the seizure-induced spammy bank. (the new auto features do nothing for the flashy spam, because it does nothing for the non sanctioned autotypers). I fear the forced interaction will do nothing for anyone, except waste time.. example the people who agree on a price, make you meet them somewhere, then they decide they now want to negotiate another price other then you both agreed to, forcing seller to go start over. Unfortunately this does nothing to help with the dishonest ppl who will scam/switch items, etc, where tbh an automated system keeps everyone honest in that regard. . Also it seems to me game was thriving with GE in place, but the later updates that ruined combat,OP weapons and graphics that turned rs3 into Legoland/transformers is what ran me and most people off. Not looking for an argument here, just voicing my opinion, but I had more fun and more interaction after the ge, which also freed up time to hang with friends and skill instead of spending hours in bank, so anything similar to that solution I'll support.

When u put in your own Autotypers , to make trading easier , was a good solution to make it more enjoyable being in w1 trading,
but this whole trading projekt goes too far now, it is fine how it is, people will get their stuff anyway if they really want something, no need to make it even more easier.

please stop trying to hold our hand and make it easier for us jagex. the autp-typers made it easy enough. we do not need something that destroys further socialization.

sounds like grand exchange.. will ruin the community.. having to talk to people to buy things right now is the best way to keep the community healthy, as if everyone buys what they want they will act like idiots because they can get what they want because they have GP. less people would sell to an inconsiderate person rather than a nice person, thus making them have to be more polite to cooperate with the community..

my opinion..
