3. Player interaction is complete bulls***, the most that is ever exchanged is "ty" "ty." Quit lying to yourself/cherrypicking for arguments.
You are looking at it too literally. The G.E.'s effect on player interaction isn't mainly due to the lack of meeting up with people. The G.E. decreased player interaction because it made the game way easier/convenient which caused people to become lazier and not feel like talking as much. Look at how much people talked, clanned etc before and after the G.E. came out. Big difference.
I had 10x more interaction sitting at the GE than I ever have on OSRS. Many others will agree with me.
G.E. was usually everyone being quiet and staring at the bank like zombies except for maybe 4 people. After the G.E. came out, it was the only place where people ever talked. Before the G.E., people talked all across runescape.
How is that any different from the varrock west bank? Its also filled with zombies with 1-2 people selling/buying obscure items for 10k.
Maybe in OSRS it's like that, kind of. But activity is still spread across the game more than if we had a GE. I was comparing the pre-G.E. main game to the post-G.E. main game, not OSRS to the post-G.E. main game. The main game had more people throughout its history so you can't really compare between that and OSRS.
