just bring back the grand exchange!! please! i know for a fact if the grand exchange was polled it would be voted back!! Just add the names of the people who are buying and selling items somehow! everybody should stop worrying about the bots and gold farmers jagex is doing there part to stop them!

For everyone crying over it ruining oldschool. The only thing ruining oldschool is people who whine like yourself. Oldschool was never meant to be 2007 specifically... Oldschool was brought back purely for the old combat system. August 15 2007 or whatever just happens to have had a carbon copy of the game.

Actually, no, it wasn't...sad for you that JaGex in it's wisdom didn't make you the pre-eoc server that you wanted, but quit trying to remake OSRS into one, thx.

You can believe that all you want lmao. They would have brought back any other version just as easily as long as it had old combat mechanics. Anything Pre-Eoc would have been brought back, the only reason the year of 2007 was brought back because it was a complete copy.

How about we add fun content and continue make it into an enjoyable, living game rather than this insufferable arguing about what is or isn't "old school". Thx.

Perhaps a better vision for the Auction house is to have it as a communication medium which will connect us to the person we are trading with, without the need to change worlds or add them to our friends list. It could then connect us through the existing trading windows which allow us the chance to not be scammed.

I agree with this.

At least farming herbs has a skill requirement. "Flipping" and "Merching" can be done by anyone.

Farming herbs requires absolutely no skill at all. Flipping and Merching requires a heck of a lot more skill than Farming herbs. Farming herbs is all luck.

Players shouldn't be able to buy/sell stuff whilst offline or doing other things - that's what the issue with the Grand Exchange was.

If we had the entire system implemented as suggested, but rather than an exchange where you actively sell/buy things without ever meeting the person, it should just be a listing, so that you can find someone who is buying/selling whatever you need, meet up with them and buy the item from them directly.

You could also add in extra validation preventing you from being able to post listings for items that you don't have, or offer more GP than you have for an item (with your listing being invalidated if your GP count drops below what you've offered/you lose the item(s) you're trying to sell.

Essentially, a service that helps people find buyers and sellers with greater ease is great - and something that would definitely be helpful. A service that enables people to buy and sell items without actively having to meet up with someone and trade with them is extremely detrimental to the game.
