Just do Low/Med/High gamble for 1/2/3 tickets similar to Barbarian assault! with chance of some sort of pet(s) with chance 1:1000.

25 ticket for win get people to play castle wars even less because they will get reward quick as hell they will never come back! ,

Y'all that are complaining that peeps will play less because they can get the reward they're after quicker.. need to stfu.

People are going to play the parts of the game THEY want to play.. check this out.. JUST LIKE YOU DO.

Giving more tickets on CW games sounds like 'just the ticket' jagex. Another easyscape addition.. you never fail to disappoint, and I'm going to vote FOR it, because it will allow people to move on to the other parts of the game they want to play, instead of spending countless hours on a minigame they don't find fun.

Like really? so if dont want play castle wars and want to focus on anything else they can. Your arguments are like whaaaat? so if I dont like Chompy kills let give us 1 kill counted as 100 cause it looks to me boring seems ok for you? or I dont want to waste so much time with RC lets give us 10x more XP for each rune so I can do what I want.... its ridiculous...

Most of the people disappointed in the Castle Wars poll are CW veterans and while I agree that the increase is fairly steep, I starkly disagree with the notion that it would kill the minigame.

Reason being: I would venture to say the reason a lot of players don't play already is because the minigame is dreadfully slow. I for one want to progress in the game and the reason I don't play Castle Wars is because currently it is a waste of time. But if it had a faster approach then I would certainly be drawn to compete in the minigame.

I would argue that others feel similarly to this.

And if we continually argue because "I've grinded so many hours for this," the game itself, I feel, would never progress. Wintertodt had similar criticisms, but eventually compromise was struck and it's a fairly balanced minigame, while simultaneously being a fun and useful way to train fire making. There needs to be compromise somewhere along the line. That's why Oldschool happened--compromise.

Just my opinion though.

All that said I do think the tickets rewarded suggestion needs to be nerfed a bit. Twenty Five tickets for a win is quite a lot.

^ This. I seriously doubt it will kill the minigame, if anything I'm sure some people just stay away due to how slow it can be to get rewards.

i rarely post on the fourms anymore because i've found it to be a lost cause but...

why on earth would you even put that castle wars question on the dev blog?

it's as if you purposely try to devalue every aspect of the game

getting actually stupid now lol, heading down the same path RS3 did prior to EoC in making everything easy, hence the mock nickname "EasyScape"

this is an extremely radical idea these days, but perhaps keep some things hard to obtain? is this not old school runescape? if people are so hellbent on fundamentally changing everything go to rs3

it's at the point that we should have an original 2007 server with 0 updated content for the veterans such as myself who came back only because we thought we'd be playing a nostalgic representation of what the game was in 2007

and im not even against updates in general, but the way they're pumped into the game constantly just kills any old school feel. have some game integrity.

and didn't you guys already adjust the amount of tickets you get for winning to 3 instead of 2? imagine people who spent countless hours getting that high ticket armor, feel bad for them lol

PS: I don't even play CW and am not affected by this personally but this is just a trend i've been seeing for a long time and it's sad to see history repeat itself.

if it's about the pure stuff then lower the cost required if you have to, not devalue tickets as a whole thus effecting literally every other item in the shop

I'm pretty dissapointed the magic cape wasn't mentioned ?

As it is the simplest thing one spell book swap a day when you can use an alter at someone's house...
Make the magic cape able to act as a god cape or infused them when used on a god cape, looking white blue green/ w b red/ w b blue

Yes to all. Castle wars needs ticket increase for sure or items to be dropped lower... especially the halos for pures. People start markets and do it for friends for money because it takes so damn long

I currently have over 10k tickets at castle wars.... took me over a year. and now u wanna increase the number of tickets u get from 2 to 25? wtf lol. might as well get rid of tickets. just have people show up, take the halo and leave.
.

Perfect example of my earlier post. That last sentence seems to be the trend these days

CW tickets in general, and especially the high ticket gold armor has always been a very impressive accomplishment this would completely destroy that

I am not a competitive CW player but I stand with your community.

Dev blogs go up showing a lot of time spent on a project BEFORE it is actually voted on. This needs to change imo.
Agreed. Having so much already created just encourages Jagex to adopt a salesman approach to polling.

I would like to be compensated for the hundreds of hours I wasted not knowing about RuneScape. It's not fair that you played before I did and never told me about this great game.
No need to complain. The most efficient way to play OSRS is actually to not play. Just wait for more grinding updates.

How about instead of adding even more blue dragons, you just remove some of the blue dragon bots? I guess that would cut back on the revenue though.

Can I look forward to you adding new blue dragons every few months, then? I'd be careful with that, though - you don't want to devalue blue dragon bots too much.
