well, first off this is much better and the removal of combat-enhancing elements is a relief. The major issue I have with the overall design is the 'chance to...' abilities. I don't like having a possibility of doing this or that; it just doesn't feel consistent enough for me. For instance, the things like the fillet food infused with herbs offering (mostly) fairly pointless bonuses doesn't cut it for me. Either remove the uncertainty aspect from the skill or increase the ingredients required to create the item and have a definitive percentage increase in probability (i.e. use a pestle and mortar on 'x' herbs to create 'x' seasoning. The more you add of that seasoning e.g ranarr the higher the percentage chance of the added affect being given (1 seasoning = 10% chance, 2 seasoning = 20% chance etc.)

I can see the benefits being given solely on chance, meaning an inventory of food could have the possibility of not giving any of the benefits that the player had predicted they would receive, resulting in whole lot of raging (this could obviously still happen, but at least there is quantitative figure/chance of the bonus being given.)

This can be applied to other areas of the artisan skill, but you get the picture :)

No.. No no no...Most defiantly voting No. We don't Need a new skill.. Especially not one with Unbalanced runes. And making the runes "Rare" only being created from tasks.. isn't going to change that, all it will do is Lower the price of runes, Make Runecrafting less profitable, make camping things like Krakens Easier. Tentacle prices will drop. Its generally going to mess with the price of things, that you honestly wouldn't even consider. I honestly Don't think we need a new skill.

I know this skill will get voted through because people are always so desperate for something new, and they're jumping at the opportunity for junk like this, but honestly they're not considering how much it actually will effect the game... and Unless you've gotten completions*, there is NO reason for a new skill.

Why do i want a 2h crossbow, thats SLOWER and not as strong as ACb which is 1h and faster?

its like this is for welfare people... I want a skill that can help me progress in fighting bosses, maybe new materials for skills....,not make logs and fish cheaper (since there will be more thanks to totems) and same thing with herbs, since we will harvest more in farm.

your going to ruin the game again by letting players obtain everything easily, this is the mistake you guys made in rs3, now most of it is dead content. I can see an update to artisan where people just get more and more fish and logs and herb exp w/e. this will surely decrease the value of fish and logs hardcore

I vote no because skilling for a master (like slayer) seems stupid, I mean i cant even make what i want unless its my task, which is dumb compared to slayer once i have a level i can go kill it as much as i want. The fact i see we have the chance to block tasks just makes me fell this is be boring, slow, and realy unnecessary.

NO

And I also Agree that people are super desperate for content, enough to where they will vote anything new into the game.

but this skill will make 07 worse, being a player for ten+ years i know what im saying, please vote no, and have jagex actualy update the skills we have. We need bosses, monsters, and higher rewards for skills, not a stupid skilling task master who gives us pretty useless items

** willing to bet in the time i can get 50 artisan I can make 50m

Okay this skill looks interesting. My problem with this is what are the benefits to this skill? sure you get exp for other skills but there are no rewards. In slayer you have the potential to get some items worth a bunch of money but I don't think 2 handed cbows will be worth much after like 2 months or so. just my opinion id rather train one skill then have to go out of my way after a certain amount of gathering to go and get another task....
