Sorry to say but i will be voting No also. To me an oldschool runescape skill would have to be well thought out and balanced, this seems to be neither of those.

The main thing that puts me off this skill is that it is really just a Minigame that utilises other skills.

Please offer an early poll asking if people want you to continue developing Artisan, as it could save countless hours of work which would be much better spent

P.S: please remove the purple string from my santa hat :P

I have a question. Will the items that I have the proper Artisan skill level to make always be available to me? For example, even if I don't have a task involving lesser bracelets of fishing, could I make them anyway if I decide I want to train fishing and be more efficient?

My only concern with the skill would be a possible almost "requirement" to level Artisan once it's released in order to compete. For example, a player who was in favor of Artisan and uses it to gain logs faster than a player who was NOT in support of the skill, and the player who does not use Artisan will now have a harder time "competing" in the market. I MYSELF have seen about a 50/50 split on the skill, and so 50% of the player base could potentially be struggling to keep up. In this situation, I feel that the skill would be forced on players, and I think if players choose to not level Artisan, they shouldn't be penalized for it, although players that choose not to level any other existing skill also don't have access to the benefits, so I don't know how "logical" that would be. I'd like to see how the impact on the market/economy is addressed. And my question answered. Thanks in advance. Still on the fence about the skill myself.

As for Artisan,I feel anyone who whines about it is simply too afraid to try new things in their OSRS experience. Why, then, are you alright with Rooftop agility and the Motherlode Mine? Those are new skilling things in this version of the game!

Anyone who whines about it is too afraid to add new content.
You say that the same people were alright with rooftop agility and motherlode mine, and ask why.
Did you just contradict yourself? Rooftop agility and motherlode mine added some new content to make said skills more fun and more accessible without harmful or parasitic side-effects. People dont like Artisan because it's too invasive; that's why said people say yes to those and no to this.

I think the allotment, tree, and fruit totems should let you choose where to go! Otherwise they don't seem very useful. Consider how high of a level you have to be to use them - it only makes sense that they'd be reliable instead of chaotic!

Otherwise, loving it! (Please make this skill for RS3 also!) Oldschool gets really awesome updates :D

I honestly do not like this skill.

If it were simple like slayer i'd like it. But I don't.

Vote no.

ya i agree. The new dev blog just devalues a lot more then before.. even the last dev blog was better then this one.. now it just seems like a reason to have a new skill only so we can slightly devalue a few things here and then there and just for fun...... as it doesnt sound like they to much care about current content and instead of adding onto new things with things already ingame their adding bonuses onto new things to only devalue it though.. to make it easier.. rather then actually adding onto current already ingame stuff.
