OSRS.c[]m is up for $10,150 - can you just buy that
yh, our web address is silly, new players will never find it
I still think oldschool F2p doesn't need that much worlds in the beginning, just use 1 or 2 and when they both got 1000+ people in it maybe a 3rd one.
That way botowners struggle to log in with 50 accounts in 1 world and also, when a F2p world is quite empty there isn't that much reason for a new player to become member.
Does Jagex still have data about players back in 2006/2007 about how long it took before a F2p player decided to become member after account creation?
If this is longer as 2 weeks I think it's quite pointless to release F2p for less then 2 weeks, in this statistics people that later turned out to be bots and people who already had a different account should be ignored.

Dont go for bonds please, buying membership with gold coins is fine, but the other way around, buying coins with real life cash is certainly NOT

I believe a lot players were much younger then, and really just didn't have a means of getting member. Now gamers know they're going to need to pay eventually, most games have a 1-2 week free trial, this would be nothing different.

If you absolutely must insist on going for microtransactions of any kind, go for completely cosmetic things, not advantagious things
They can't let you buy membership with coins though, since jagex will be losing out on money since alot of people won't be using irl cash to get mem they will be using their irl gp.
Only way I can see it happening is puting bonds into osrs which means you can buy gp pretty much or make a safe way to transfer money over to rs3 and buy a bond that way.

That's good to hear, but could oldschool url's that currently redirect to runescape.come redirect to oldschool.runescape.come as well?
2007scape.come for example redirects to runescape.come for example, instead of oldschool, it would be a really easy step to simply let such URL's Jagex already owns redirect to oldschool and a lot of such URL's are easy to remember and say around IRL.
All the advertising which will go out will go straight to the Old School page.

Technically you already can. Buy bonds on rs3 and trust a swapping chat. All bonds in old school would do is make it so you don't need to trust any swapping chats

Mod Mat K,
Will we be given the option to at least vote on the Rs Official Auto Typer? I find this to be somewhat odd because you are pretty much giving a tool (for free) to those advertising RSGold sites that RWT. I do not feel as though an official auto typer is needed & would love to see how the rest of the community stands on this subject.
As for free to play, I enjoy the fact that Yews are now disabled in the trial and believe if we ever went full F2p that the Yews & Coal should become members only due to the amount of bots that like to profit off of these items. The free trial will be nice because I want to get some of my old buddies back into the game because we all quit around '01.
Thanks for all that you do and keep up the great work OSRS Team
Whats A Herb
Because the autotyper is part of the anti-bot strategy, we won't be polling it. Also, if scammers etc are using our autotyper, it is easier for us to catch them.
