Let first time f2pers have a unlimited f2p, while people that end their membership only have f2p for 2 weeks after having first logged in

This way genuine f2pers will have their time to try the game and eventually become member, and people that disable their membership can't abuse it, but still try out the game 'after taking a break'

That may be an option in the future, once we have seen how this trial goes we can look at the data and decide what to do next.

I really think it would be an incredibly smart move to think about adding something like bonds at the same time. You don't lose any revenue because someone has to pay for the bond for it to exist in game, and it will give a lot of the new F2Pers a goal to achieve enough money for a bond in their first two weeks, especially if it is made clear that they exist in old school upon the release of F2P. These of course should only be able to be used on membership, nothing else.

Finally...although this 'official' autotyper is rather disappointing O_o

Yeah... can't you just start perm muting people who do it?

The problem with that is we'd have a large portion of our community which would be permanently muted. It seems that we need to react to what the community need and create a solution to the underlying issues rather than trying to caurterise the wound.

...which wouldn't have been an issue had the rules been enforced...sorry, that 'reason' is very disappointing....it states very clearly by you that if you want a rule changed, keep breaking it. Having a method for players to use their GP to buy their membership would be fantastic. If the community are comfortable with bonds being bought for real money in Old School then we'd add it to the next poll.

Yeah, if a lot of people got perm muted, that would act as a wonderful deterrent.
