That's good to hear, but could oldschool url's that currently redirect to runescape.come redirect to oldschool.runescape.come as well?

2007scape.come for example redirects to runescape.come for example, instead of oldschool, it would be a really easy step to simply let such URL's Jagex already owns redirect to oldschool and a lot of such URL's are easy to remember and say around IRL.

Will we be given the option to at least vote on the Rs Official Auto Typer? I find this to be somewhat odd because you are pretty much giving a tool (for free) to those advertising RSGold sites that RWT. I do not feel as though an official auto typer is needed & would love to see how the rest of the community stands on this subject.


As for free to play, I enjoy the fact that Yews are now disabled in the trial and believe if we ever went full F2p that the Yews & Coal should become members only due to the amount of bots that like to profit off of these items. The free trial will be nice because I want to get some of my old buddies back into the game because we all quit around '01.

Mat, what do you do about this then? Suppose I temporarily quit, I have 3 accounts. A main, zerker, and a range tank. When I come back I want to start by just making my main member so I can make some money before worrying about PK accounts.

Currently I would have to keep making accounts member until I find out which account is my main, which would be a bit of a turn off.

With F2P 2 weeks trial, is it possible that every time you become member and your member time finishes, you get another 2 weeks F2P trial?

I'm not explaining myself well but hope you understand what I mean

well if you can't deal with bot issue how about make only accounts that are 3-12 months old able to get on f2p theme worlds

yes they can easy make alot f2p accounts and wait but you could also flag isp doing this can you not???

This limits on who have access to F2P worlds is partly bot related but also to protect the revenue that Old School generates. If enough members became F2P to make Old School no longer profitable, the support would be taken away which would impact on the updates you get.

ya i know will limit people who can play ors but was just an idea if can't deal with the bot issue and still give f2p a chance after all

anyways goodluck hope works out ill for sure be making a ranged/2h pure if legacy mode does not help bring pvp back to life in rs3 Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
