I think that one of the reasons that there were a lot of F2P accounts during Halloween and not many people buying membership is the fact that players made MULTIPLE accounts so they could farm the party hats and sell them for like 50k each. So I feel like that might be a major variable to contend with.

The members content was also free at that time, thus there would have been no need to pay for membership to play.

I look forward to the in-game auto-typer and chat throttling system. Although RS has greatly improved my typing skills and WPM, I can't afford to get carpal tunnel via excessive typing nor punished. I never condoned any illegal activities such as bot usage including auto-typing, so I've always refrained from it and frowned upon such offenses. All in all, I'm thrilled that an auto-typing system will be legally implemented into the game. :D

Not sure if this was already said but how about the idea of the ingame autotyper only being allowed in say World 1/2 and in particular areas like Varrock bank, this is just an example but the main selling areas now would be the place you can use them to stop people running around just spamming without breaking the rules.

Disappointed that it's only 2 weeks for NEW players. I'm sorry Jagex but that's not really going to get the main benefits of adding a permanent F2P. You really only need 1 or 2 worlds for 'true' F2P.
