The problem with that is we'd have a large portion of our community which would be permanently muted. It seems that we need to react to what the community need and create a solution to the underlying issues rather than trying to caurterise the wound.

I understand the point you made, but I don't believe its fair to selectively ignore rules either. Perhaps 'let it slide' up to now, but make an announcement that anyone auto typing after June 1, will receive a mute of 7 days for a first offense, 30 days for a second offense, and a perm mute for a third. Then starting June 1 begin seriously enforcing the rule to clear up the spam. Or perhaps implement the auto typer deadline to coincide with a trading fix.

Creating an auto typer of your own will only increase spam in w1 and make the problem worse.

I now just noticed it's only a temporary trial, this would mean that I can introduce some friends for only 2 weeks?
Well maybe this isn't such a good idea anyway...

I should have readed that part carefully before, but this will only make new players learn to play the game and find out over time that they will get screwed anyway no matter what.

If you have (had) a boyfriend for 2 weeks and then he forces you to break up, then what's usually your opinion about him 4 weeks after?

I'm sorry, but if you're giving 2 week trials it will only work against you over time instead of (financially) helping you?

Trials will only hurt the name of the compagny.
In Holland we got a television channel called Eredivisie Live, they gave trials as well, nowadays most people hate that channel because they could have watched it for a while, but now suddenly can't.

I'm not so positive any more now anyway, if I started playing a game knowing that I'm forced to pay anyway after a while I shouldn't start playing it beforehand.
If I'm playing a game for free but know that others have an advantage above me because they pay some membership I might consider paying membership as well, but that's not the case.

I can't remember any RL friend becoming member or even willing to after only 2 weeks already back at the time either.

2 weeks, you'll even struggle to get to lvl 60 att and stuff so you can actually use memberitems?
The first few days there isn't even a noticeble difference between the F2p and P2p game, mining trains just as fast/slow in F2p as P2p, wc****, ranged...



Maybe just do 1 or 2 worlds for like 2 months, after 2 months it would at become pointfull to become member and before that time just to avoid the crowd.

Not all rules are set in stone. Some that needs to be changed, has to be changed.

some people dont mind the mess of world 1
and the rest use rsc's price guild or u know suck it up and use trade worlds
