Hello God Ash,

Reading through some of these comments has made me laugh a little bit. Some people are generally raging at someone who has no power over this. I thank you for your service ash but do you have any idea what these system updates are doing to me... tis making me a little bit anoyed but didnt fancy raging like the other people on here because your a very nice person, and did not want to dampon your spirits. Surely you do realise that, as a company, getting things running smoothly again is naturally going to be their top priority? As they've clarified multiple times on various platforms, they obviously have an entirely separate, specialised team to work on dealing with issues of this nature. The best the OSRS dev team can do is continue to update our game in the meantime, as that is their job.

Jagex isn't really at fault at all here.

We'd naturally have preferred to get it right first time, but sadly not every bug can be fixed without an extra reboot. The thing with members' items causing crashes on F2P worlds was not really something we could have left alone. And, yeah, since you were being kicked offline again, we threw in the superior slayer mobs GFX update to sweeten the deal.

Mod Ash is an amazing mod, which is why he does not deserve people like Grump Bucket raging at him simply because they can't log in. That's why *I* got so pissed; Mod Ash deserves to be treated better than most of these ragers and whiners are treating him.

Hello there,


There seems to be an issue and its not possible to load the game after the update, neither the website nor any of the clients (can't even say if i can log in or no, although past 3 days were impossible to play normally, and today even conecting was a challenge).
Could anybody tell me what i can do or is it conected with the servers problem?

P.S. i am not from AUS or NZ :D

Hey!

I noticed filling the runecrafting pouches no longer gives a message "Your pouch is full", whether you have your game-chat filtered or not. Was this intentional to happen?

Great job with the update, love it. I appreciate the hard work you Mods do just to satisfy us and make the game as enjoyable as possible. :)

Any reason Jmod's chose alternate forums and social media for announcing work against the current attacks and not put anything on official forums until they exploded beyond control?

One would think RSF would be the first place to hear news of such importance.

Given the network problems lately, I'd have assumed your issue would be connected to that. But the Support team's got a tech help page on the site if you'd like to try it.

Oh, yes, if it's taken stuff from your inventory when you clicked on it, it now assumes you saw it happen, so it doesn't output a message. But if you click on it again, and nothing changes in your inventory, it will give you the message to explain why nothing's happened. Players had suggested we filter the message - which suggested that the message might just be unhelpful altogether.

I'm pretty sure our social media reaches people faster than leaving a thread in the Old School Announcements forum and waiting for people to find it themselves. Even putting news on the front page of our website has been relatively ineffective as players load the game directly without going via the website.

Same issue here not helping with the updates interupting got on for 20mins before the next update and having the same issue after it. UK based
