These are excellent updates. I especially like the ents in the wilderness. I hope a higher Woodcutting level translates to more/better log drops though. For instance, I don't think someone with 75 Woodcutting should be getting the same quantities of magic logs as someone with 99 Woodcutting.

What happened to keeping RSOS Old School
, like the name states?

All these updates should be made on RS3, not on OSRS. People are playing this game because they want the old 2007 experience, not the 2007 experience with a 2014 twist.

Some of these ideas are okay, but revenants? They were the worst thing about the Original Runescape's wilderness.

Stop complicating the game, some people like it simple. Anyone who doesn't, go play RS3.

Actually, the majority of people play osrs over rs3 because of the combat system.

Infact, I know a large amount of people would much prefer something 2008+.

Sounds like a really good update for the wilderness guys, Cant wait to see how this turns out! :D

I'm really looking forward to the new drop tables on the existing monsters the most, Especially the Dragon pickaxe :)

We know many of you want this removed and we’d be happy to do it to. The one proviso is that we need to solve the problem which caused the ditch to be included in the first place, but we believe we can do this.

Dear OSRS Team,

The problem which caused the ditch to be included in the first place is no longer a problem. You've got to stop thinking this game needs babysitting, this game has matured since 2005.

The Wilderness does not need a physical border nor a visual one on the minimap. Just get rid of the Wilderness ditch and leave it as it is. You've brought back OSRS so the community has the power to influence on every single change Jagex, don't forget that.

This game should be RISKY once again.

OldSchool was about an active and vibrant wilderness more than anything else. I'd expect a comment like yours on any devblog EXCEPT this one honestly... Everything stated here is forwarded from a major corporation. Nothing here is my opinion. Enjoy your salad.

Oh dear, you don't seem to realise yet that the vast majority want updates to the game that will become dead soon without change, I've only seen a handful of people on the forums who want the game to stay completely as it is, but unfortunately it can't.

These updates aren't complicating the game in any way, they are for the good of the long term survival of the game.

I never pked in either 07scape or the live game for that matter, however what you have revealed here is amazing and looks great...

just a idea though, can the red chins become black chins, which require a higher range level to wield, higher hunter level to hunt and deal more damage? this would really add some high level hunting content to the game
