Any chance the same will be done for RS3?


The majority of RS3 players aren't there for PvP. Even if they talked about such a heavily PvP oriented update, i'm sure a lot of people wouldn't be excited for it.
Everything stated here is forwarded from a major corporation. Nothing here is my opinion. Enjoy your salad.

Alot of people are woried that too much power will be in the hands of the PKers and not the skillers... Just saying this is being done to rejuvinate the wilderness and not too rejuvinate skilling.


If it's not for rejuvinate skilling, or even PvM, then don't add bosses and any high level ressources.


If the point of the update is to rejuvinate PvP like it seems to be, they'd better say it now.


If you rejuvinate the wildy, you do it for the place to be equal to all players, not only to allow PvPers to rush PvMers with good loots and Low level skillers.

everyone who wants revenants wants them to be in a dungeon

ya but not everyone wants them to be in a dungeon such as myself.. A fair way to see what kind of understand the community rly wants i think would be fair to make a straw poll between the 2. The winner of the 2 questions is how revenenants are released. 1. would you like revenants in cave or 2. would you like revenants spread throughout the wilderness like they once were.

This would get a good understand of what the community rly wants and give fairness with the update rather then just updating something into the game that the community would rather not have.

PvM got GWD not long ago and is getting new bosses. Skillers have gotten rooftop agility at least. I'm not a Pker at all, but the Wilderness is a joke right now, I never see anyone there it's supposed to have some danger to it. Plus this update offers something to everyone. Skillers get new resource areas and materials, PvMers get more bosses, and PvPers get more people to fight due to an influx of people (hopfully) enter the wilderness.

The only reason they were not in a dungeon is because they wanted to add something to make the wilderness still feel dangerous, which it wasn't really, Rev's were easy to escape. But now, the majority of the world in the Wild are dead and its even safer than when there was reverants.

Quick question guys, would you like a Kill/Death ratio available for you to see?

But, how about we could have a very very little risk system beside the items we already risk.
Just for the
1 item ragging
problem, like
10k cash tax
to enter the wilderness (inspired by Crucible in pre-eoc when you needed 150k cash to enter)

Thats atleast something. And its absolutely not too much!

please leave feedback on this mini extra risk. :)


This isn't a mini-game. Stop with that crap about having to pay to visit a part of the game...


Then you will need at least 150 quest points to enter in the Wilderness, regard of this zone will have the best resources of the game.


Are you completely forgetting this is a PvP zone? The fact that players make up how dangerous the environment is, is why the best resources are offered there. Quite sad seeing people trying to ruin such a great update with hogwash...


A 10k 15k some kind of wilderness tax does actually make sense it would at least prevent people from risking Zero value in fights without actually losing something thereselves. And it would be a decent cash sink

Okay, count me in as voting a firm, emphatic NO! to the 'No teleports from King Black Dragon' idea.

I'm not a PVP'er, but I've had enough experience with them to know how they think. If you force players to leave KBD's lair 'the hard way', the PVPers will just camp outside and attack.


Sounds like legitimate military tactics to me lol...


here's a solution make 3 escape tunnels in kbd lair to go to after finished trip so pkers will have no idea where they went!


I was thinking of when you pull the teleport lever, you get teleported to a random wilderness portal.

Although what would be better is remove the teleport lever and add a dungeon that begins where the poison spiders are. There could be multiple entrance and exit-ways. The higher agility level a player has, the better escape/entrance they can take.
