Any consideration being given to a sort of 'bounty' system, Mat?

No point just throwing every old system out there at this point with the amount of players we have. I think one of the problems with the pvp/bh system is that there is only skilled pkers pking which was what made pvp kinda boring along with raggers. There needs to be pkers of different skill levels in the wildy to make it fun for everybody that wants to try and pk and i think the wildy rejuvenation ideas are the best way to get people out there especially pvmers who are mostly high combat and are likely to start pking if they get put in that environment. Also somebody new to pking can start with pking skillers and work his way up.

You wouldn't be able to withdraw items from it while in the wild though

Oh ? It's ok for me then

Edit :
Hey Mat, what about the Bank at Runecrafting altar ?! Please consider the idea ! (Or just remove the B.F bank)

Revs should only be in a cave or a certain area only.. they use to be so annoying when they roamed wild everywhere especially if you are going somewhere to fight someone and you happen to run into a rev first, they were insanely op.

It's a danger.

Wilderness is the danger
Revs need to be in the Wildy

If you just want to Pk, do it in low level wildy, if you want to free kill some skillers in deepest wildy, you take risks, that's all.

We NEED Corrupt weapons, new items that will atract pvm'ers.
These weps are what would make this game so much more fun again.
Let low lvl pures be able to fight back on Zerkers deeper in wilderness.

Wilderness is dying badly in the high lvl part becouse you can not get profit from pking when it's just full of:
*rushers
*voiders that doesnt have enought risk to be worth fighting.
*zerkers that always has to risk 3x more then they can get from another.

Wilderness is dying in low lvl/pure pking:
*raggers with no risk.
*Spec and run.
*Pj'ing out of no reason, just for the sake of being "bored."

Please... Make a statistic of new peoples that enters wildy, see for yourselves.
This new person have lost a high part of his bank within 30 minutes of pk'ing.

All we really need is a Risk for Loot system or highrisk worlds,
and when you teleport out of wildy, you can not get in within 5 minutes again.
That would solve some of the Rushing problems.
They can still rush, but not 24/7...

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to say my opinion.

1) If you want to make Wilderness more alive, you must delete pvp worlds. They were a huge step towards wilderness destruciton.

2) Making green dragons spots as multi areas, will just decrease the amount of people going there, and will decrase theyr wealth carried since there will be no chance to survive 2 or more PvP'ers attacking you.

3) Adding revenants will hurt low level skillers for example runite ore miners.

And i'd would like to ask Jagex, to stop updating oldschool runescape so much. This is not what every oldschool fan wanted. Now alot of EOC players comes to OS, alot of people vote for updates just to make it better, like it was pre-EOC.

Man is smart, but people are stupid.
Diplomacy sucks.

Thank you.

Hi!

I noticed that in your original plans/map you had the Greater Demons in red writing, does this mean you planned on buffing/changing these monsters that lurk around the Demonic Ruins? Because in the updated map they are back to black writing as the "Exisisting Monsters".

Now, if you were buffing/changing the Greater Demons that would be interesting! Add something unique to the Greater Demons close to the Demonic Ruins. That way also Slayers could come and try slaying them! The gap between Greater Demons and Black Demons is very big, you could definitly make some changes there ^_^

(just make them abit stronger than they already are as the size and the fact that they hit just 1 more hp is all they have compared to the Lesser Demon, make them hit maybe 12-13 instead of the boring old 9 :D )

I would also like to see similiar changes to other "Existing monsters" in the wilderness, these could be:

- The Lesser Demons outside the KBD and inside the Lava Maze: buff those monsters up exclusively to the new wilderness :D give them a new drop table like my Greater Demon suggestion. You could make it similiar to the Greater Demon drop table and make it less common or something like that...

- Black Knights : I was thinking about these when I didn't see them around Lava Maze anymore. Don't take those away! :( You could change those into something similiar to the "High Level Dark Warriors"! I think we would could try something like that.

- Green Dragons: I was just thinking that you could change the green dragons in lvl 37 wilderness into Brutal Green Dragons instead (this could be fun!). And you could also add the same firebreath attacks as metal dragons use, if you come to close and they get aggressive they could start using firebreath attacks if you try to escape or move away from them like the metal dragons!
These changes does not have to happen because this might be abit too extreme...!

You could always do a poll! ;) I have enjoyed your excellent dev, support!

Revenants:

With everything else you've got going on here, revenants certainly need to be restricted, either in terms of roam area (this might be the case looking at your map), or in what they're capable of should you encounter one (fight interruptions, for example).

While I enjoyed revenant killing, we do need to remember they were originally implemented as a way to try to retain some danger in a Wilderness that was emptied of Player-killing. Lots of resource spots + increased player-killing, means revenants as they were introduced originally would be somewhat overkill -- literally.

Green Dragons:

I also think you need to re-think Green Dragons. A mix of multi- and single-way spots seems a better option in my opinion, given this is the only place to go kill these dragons. They're not that uncommon for low- to mid-levels to get as Slayer tasks, and it's not a task one generally wants to forego (especially with the new point system in place). If you want to do something like reds and blacks, and put some high-competition/low-risk spots outside of the Wilderness as well, by all means, make them all multi. Otherwise, I ask you reconsider.
