I like the idees. No pain no gain. If you want great loot you need great risks.
- revenats was fun but the corupted drops have no use anymore since they could be wielded in nonmember and everyone is member now XD
- the "skiller" at the bottom of the foodchain should have a fair chance of getting away
a logging out timer and all multicombat zones would mean certain death. Single combat obligates the pker to choose between an icebarrage or a teleblock and logging out is the only defence against a pk party.
there should be risks but a player that is activly skilling and on the lookout for dangour should be given a fair chance to escape trough:
-TP portals troughout the wildy
-single combat zones
-hidyholes
-mazes
-...
i can think of countless ways do achieve this balance and many of the featchers offer ambush potential offering that extra thrill and forces pkers to make a decent plan like surounding and cutting off escapes instead of just running in "teleblock icebarage kill"

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the feedback you have given, it is great to see so many vocal players talking about this. Below is a list of the issues you have raised and the some changes you would like to make.

Green Dragons

Many of you have asked for the green dragon spots to remain a single way area so we'll happily leave them be.

Teleport portals

Some of you think there should be some additional teleport portals added, so we will find some locations and poll that as a seperate question.

Swag bag

A lot of you don't like the name of the swag bag, which is actually good news. We used that name as it describes exactly what it does which we felt is more important to explain the concept that it having a cool name. We'll happily change the name - the 'bag of holding' is something that has been suggested, what do you think?

Limiting the worlds

Many of you have asked for the wilderness to be updated only in a limited amount of worlds. This is likely to increase the activity in the Wilderness in these worlds while allowing players to do their clues as they have always done. I think 10 worlds sounds about right and we'll happily poll this as a seperate question.

Single way combat

It would be interesting to hear whether you think players should be able to attack another player in single way combat whether they are fighting a monster or not.

Making items available outside of the Wilderness

There has been a request for the new items to be available outside of the Wilderness. The purpose of this content is to drive activity in the Wilderness and if we were to introduce these items outside of the Wilderness it would dilute the activity. However, the new items will be tradeable so you will be able to buy them if you don't like PvP. They will be expensive to start with but the prices will settle down in time.

Benefits to skillers

If the Wilderness and PvP becomes more active then we expect to see a net loss in the consumables in the economy. We expect players to use more food, potions, bolts, runes, etc when Pking than they are at the moment. This will mean the demand of these items will rise giving an opportunity for industious skillers to fill the market and make a killing (so to speak). An active PvP area will impact every part of the game and even if you do not PK, you will still benefit from it.

PvP armour and weapons

There is a lot of discussion surrounding revenants dropping PvP armour and weapons. Equally there is a lot of resistance to items such as Vesta's, Statius' and Zuriels's equipment. We don't have to use the same stats and can create something which is more suitable to your needs. So please let us know what stats would work for you.

Not a bad idea, Just curious, will these worlds have a different color like the F2P and PvP worlds if someone wants to world hop?

Edit: Also there have been some good suggestions for what Red Dragons could have added to their drop table, was wondering if you have seen these as well

Yes. Bring the reves back please. Revecaves will make pking more active and fun. They should drop all the same vesta, statius and corrupt items etc. as they do in rs3 and did in pre-eoc.

Make all the bosses drop the dragon 2H and Change its special attack make it have both AOE special attack and single special attack. Also add the Dragon Sword

Dragon 2H
Power Usage-50%
Deals up to 15% more damage and reduces the opponent's Defence by 20%.
New animation could look like the bandos Gs spec

Dragon Sword
Power Usage-30%
Deals up to 20% more damage and cannot be defended against.

Mat do you have any idea what the dragon pickaxe will be like? I think this is something else that could be used to also increase activity in the wild


A few suggestions I've seen about the forums are:
Passive effects:
- Increases your chance of getting gems (similar to how glorys work) and is up to dragon stone (or onyx with a 1/20m xp drop rate or something ridiculous) with a slightly higher chance if you're mining in the wild
- 10% faster mining rate, with this being increased to 15-20% in the wild

Special attack:
- Mine double ores up to mithril out of the wild and up to adamant in the wild for about 60 seconds.

& also could we also get the D axe spec changed to help similar to how I suggested the D pickaxe spec to be? The current spec is pointless and I never understood why it was combat based.

I disagree with limiting this to 10 worlds. Skillers need an actual chance at survival here, otherwise it'll turn into dead content because it's a lot more profitable to kill the skillers than it is to actually collect the resources yourself.

The rates at which these resources are collected needs to be a lot higher than non-wildy skilling if you actually want to attract anyone.

After some thought, I'm not sure if those would really drive activity to the wild since the bank is abit far and noone mines addy for the xp, I still think it should be done but with another small change.

What do you guy sthink of some sort of Magic notepaper (like RS3's) that is dropped by all the bosses in the wild, where you can turn your resources (ores, fish, logs, maybe even dragon bones) into bank notes if you're in the wild? This would make people kill the bosses and would let people camp in the wild without hurting their xp/gp per hour (thus increasing their risk) and wouldn't be as OP as RS3's version of it
