I like the blocking update for Catacombs, however I think that should only be applicable to the boundaries where monster-types are different. I think areas where you have multiple rooms grouped together all with the same monster then the boundaries should be left alone if not allowed to have the wander distance extended slightly. This would bring in more interest in different combat styles other than just melee. Utilizing group-killing methods like Chinchompas and Ancient spells, I think that it would result in a more diverse player base utilizing the area. Some people opt for ancients now while hunting some monsters however a majority of the players I encounter in the Catacombs are all utilizing primarily melee tactics.
