What is the actual % of people who voted yes to #4? I've seen people saying we've got 74% yes votes, but I'm only seeing 72% of yes votes. Either way, clearly a lot of people are sick of wasting their time. It doesn't make the game more fun to stand around and it's not "social", social is what I am when I am not wasting my time dealing with scammers and low-ballers in world 1.

why not put the grand exchange in?

Because it seems like offline trading isn't desired. Ask the minority and any update to the trade system that won't be dead on arrival is immediately "The Grand Exchange", even if it is totally different and desired by most of the player base.

The problem for me isn't so much the resource collecting. My issue is more about offloading loot I've gotten. I'm not a skiller. Almost everything I do in this game revolves around PvM. If I need to level skills to support PvM, I generally don't have too much trouble finding what I need. Either by buying or collecting. But getting rid of monster drops or t-trail loot is another story. It takes forever. I'm not a merchant, don't want to be a merchant, and hate wasting time standing around for hours trying to open up bank space by selling stuff.

People can play the game as they desire. If the oldschool hard liners want to level their accounts the oldschool way, they can. Even with a trading solution. The doomsayers and gloomsayers saying a trading solution will kill oldschool are full of it. On one hand they preach the end of the game, while at the same time say a trading solution already exists. Sorry, can't have it both ways. If a solution already exists, a more efficient one isn't going to kill the game. R/S was alive and well before EOC. The GE didn't kill the economy for anyone, and merchants still got obscenely rich. People who wanted to collect the 3 gadzillion flax to spin 3 gadzillion BS's to make 3 gadzillion yew longs to alch 3 gadzillion times could still do that. They could even chop 30 gadzillion logs to fletch 30 gadzillion bows so they'd have the 3 gadzillion yew longs (u). The point here is that a trading solution doesn't DICTATE how you play your account. So stop with the crystal ball analysis and armchair philosophical naysaying.

No, they are voting yes for 5 and 6 and no to 4 because they have no logic and are idiots. This community is ********

And you're just so omniscient that you are able to make this deduction that the entirety of the oldschool community lacks a fundamental intelligence to discern the difference between question 4 and it's counterparts being 5 and 6?

Firstly, I want you to read that sentence carefully before you respond and make sure you can comprehend what I just typed and secondly, unless you own Jagex, don't call the community you play with stupid. It's childish and unnecessary, because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

There's plenty of that going happening on both sides, refer to the above post.

In my opinion I think the new trading post should be similar to an in-game version of The Current Popular Trading price guide (Due to Game rules I cant say the website) but with offline and online trading. I have played Runescape for over a decade and I have seen the pro's and con's of many updates. The Grand Exchange did have it pro's, at first it made trading easier, You could get the items you wanted fast and effortless, But it had a major economic impact Mercher's manipulated the system to raise and lower prices on most item's, The Grand Exchange Ruined the Economy! For instance I could buy an item for 10m quit runescape for 5 months come back, and totally be screwed! Because the item in question dropped 8m now it is 2m... Or I could return and make a nice profit from the item increasing in price. The Current Economy in Oldschool Runescape is Extremely Stable! For instance all the items I Purchased 4 months ago I could sell back for the same price I purchased them for. I just hope that the Oldschool Runescape Economy does not suffer from the introduction of this new trading system if passed. I currently see no problem with the current way to buy and sell items, We as a whole wanted the return of Oldschool Runescape.. But with the change's everyone is begging for it seem's everyone just wanted the old combat system to be returned to runescape. I for one love Oldschool Runescape I loved it back in the day and I love it now, Sorry for rambling I just wanted to put my Two Sense in. I will still play oldschool no matter what though.

Thanks,
Aluhn
