should be a question were you can only buy only increments

example: I'm selling 50k nats

(I) will sell them in 1k increments only. not 1500, not 500, not 25500.

So what we need
any:
increments:
all:

also, offers should automatically stay up for 5mins after going offline to account for hopping worlds. Would be really annoying if you were selling 50k nats and you had to repost your offer 15 times.

p.s. think we could sneak in another question?
"should recipe for disasters gloves be converted to coins upon death instead of simply disappearing into nothing. This means when you die with barrow gloves, there will be 130k for you or other people to pick up."

This is why people should just use the damn forums... it's so simple and clean, but if people really don't want to use it then my only thought it to bring the forums to the game.

It would probably be a ton of work and would probably be stupid, but it is so interesting that no one wants to use the forums is fast and efficient.

I believe that a limited form of the Grand Exchange in RS3 is what we should be striving for.

1. Do not allow trading while a player is offline unless they are taxed
2. Allow the trading post to find, but not conduct a trade that seems to be the right match.
3. Allow an offer to be partially sold (This will increase transaction time greatly which is the point of creating a new trading system).
4. Offers should be visible in the post at all times, but should tell a player if the player offering the trade is offline and possibly what time zone he/she is in. If this is created I endorse a system of messaging be allowed that lets the buyer/seller talk to one another via messages that can be opened when a person logs in so they know someone wants to buy/sell them something and can set up a meeting. A form of private messaging.

Thanks for reading~

" Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy items, should you be able to buy only part of a sellers offer if you want? For example, if the seller is selling 1,000 of an item, you can buy only 100 if you wish. "

The way his question is phrased makes it seem like we will be voting to have it either be this way or you must by the whole quantity. The question should instead be
" Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy items, should the seller be allowed to offer buyers the ability to purchase only part of the entire offer? For example, if the seller is selling 1,000 of an item, you can buy only 100 if you wish.

This way it is clear that the seller would have an option to allow this and does not make it seem like the seller has no choice in the matter.

How about just put in a System which allows us players to get our Items quickly to play the game? I don't wanna meet up so i have to stop training.

Just put in a kind of grand exange.

No meeting up.
Just a system which allows us to get money and prevent merching.

I think that RS is great the way it is. I use the *ybex guide and trading site and never have a problem with buying or selling. But if you are going to offer us a "trading" option then it needs to work whether the player is on or offline, there should be no penalty of any type for trading offline either. Honesty though, if the game is truly a replica of Runescape from 2007 then it should already have the GE in it, then if we didn't like it we could be voting it out. So following that logic we should start by fully implementing the GE like it was at the end of 2007 then tweeking it to the members tastes by polling them about it. Just my two cents. I used the GE back then and it wasn't that bad of a system to be honest.

Offers won't show if you're logged off. This is not the big deal people are making of it, if you consider: logged out to hop worlds, offers disappear, logged back in, offers reappear. Let's say they become inactive when you log out, not that they're deleted.

Thank you so much for listening and polling some of the most controversial features, even if this is not perfect I think it's about as fair as you can possibly get in this situation. Obviously I'm hoping we end up with something similar to my Marketplace Solution and nothing more but now that part is up to us.

One thing I think should be added: because convenience is the number one priority of the GE crowd I insist the marketplace can be accessed through interface. If people have to meet up as I think they should then let it be on their own terms don't force them to a specific location to post offers like the GE does. I will sometimes sell things cheaper if the buyer is willing to come to me, and this dynamic might be lost if I have to go to Varrock every time like in RS3.
Question: If we introduce the trading post should players be able trade items through it rather than having to meet up to trade through the existing trade system? Yes but only if a tax system is implemented. If the player do not wish to meet in person he could pay the tax to get the item right away. If the player does not want to pay the tax he must meet the other player. And which party pays the taxes? Why only the buyer? Why not the person who wants to sell items without face-to-face interaction? A tax on sellers would hit the merchers. Should it be a tax per item or a percentage of the total sale? Who decides the percentage charged, or if some items should be charged different tax rates? This opens up a huge can of worms. Worms with sharp pointy TEETH! My feelings towards this trade house have changed since it was first described. I didn't realize how many people are afraid of others making money while offline (no, selling does NOT make them 'progress through the game' while offline). I will agree to online +15 minutes as long as that can be programmed into the code and doesn't mess up a potential trade in the middle. I also support the posting to stand for 48 hours whenever a person is online so that it doesn't have to be re-listed every time, if possible. I still haven't decided on the FORCED face-to-face sales. If the ability to sell through the trading post exists, it should not matter if someone wants to buy 1 or 2371 items offered, being forced to buy minimum amounts or 'stacks of X' should only apply to face-to-face meetings. I also agree that the selection of which seller to buy from should be the responsibility of the buyer, not automatic, but this already assumes that the sale will be handled through the trading post, not a forced face-to-face.Seeing offers while the sellers are offline: how will anyone KNOW that someone is willing to sell an item otherwise? Esp rare items!
