should be a question were you can only buy only increments

example: I'm selling 50k nats

(I) will sell them in 1k increments only. not 1500, not 500, not 25500.

So what we need
any:
increments:
all:

also, offers should automatically stay up for 5mins after going offline to account for hopping worlds. Would be really annoying if you were selling 50k nats and you had to repost your offer 15 times.

p.s. think we could sneak in another question?
"should recipe for disasters gloves be converted to coins upon death instead of simply disappearing into nothing. This means when you die with barrow gloves, there will be 130k for you or other people to pick up."

What he said.

I actually like the way it is right ,people who need a certain item finds a people selling in the certain trading spot. There is also a online price guide and forum which you can add up your offers and meet up the people who's online at that moment. So in my opinion we don't need new trading system. It's already fine and very helpful finding item you need. Thanks

Question: Should we introduce a trading post where you can post trade offers which will be visible to everyone? Offers will only appear when the seller is online and you will need to trade through the existing trading system. It should also appear offline as well.

Question: If we introduce the trading post, should players’ trade offers be visible when they are offline? Yes

Question: If players' trades are visible when they are offline, should they be visible for more than 6 hours? Yes.

Question: If we introduce the trading post should players be able trade items through it rather than having to meet up to trade through the existing trade system? Yes they should.

Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy items, should you be able to buy only part of a sellers offer if you want? For example, if the seller is selling 1,000 of an item, you can buy only 100 if you wish. Yes, but the seller should be able to set the increments i.e if selling 10000, have to buy in 1000s

Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy items, should you be able to add buy offers for items and let the trading post find the best match for you? Yes.

Question: If we introduce a trading post that matches offers for you, should your buy offers be visible when you are offline? Yes, they should

My reasons for defending and wanting Offline trading mostly comes from the fact that I am a New Zealand based player - The main time I am playing there is barely anyone to trade with. It would be nice if you could get the forums booming again. But as Your forums don't get used very much for tradining anymore, I don't want to have to rely on 3rd party websites for trading, and I shouldn't feel alienated just because I can't play during the games peak times. I also don't have nearly as much time to play as I did when I was younger and don't want the majority of my time taken trying to buy or sell something.

I think that players should be able to keep their offers up while offline for no longer than 30 minutes. Yes, some players have to go to dinner, yes some people go to the bathroom, some people are hopping worlds, and yes some players disconnect. But if you'll have to meet players to trade, nobody wants to deal with dormant trade offers because someone kept an offer open overnight. I'm a huge fan of Construction; love the skill. In particular I'm absolutely fascinated with the
Player-Owned House Dungeon.
My dream is for everyone to be able to build their own personal PvM challenge, one that rivals even current content.

Love the idea!!! 100% Support!!! It's much like the G.E. with a little bit of Zyb in it. a lot of people have been using **b as a source, but now with this coming out, they won't need to use it anymore. I love the idea, being how I've always wanted the G.E. to come back! Thank you Jagex!!!

I think the basic trade system is fine the way it is, and i like that you have to meet the actual person, i would like to see the trade system untouched. Just my opinion tho. I hated the GE yes it was handy, but it changed the way the game worked, Runescape is awesome because its unique and the basic untouched trade system is one of the main reasons its unique, if you want some thing you have to take the time and effort to go and get it, not go and buy and find it instantly out of a Big Bank (GE). I dont support anything having to do with a system similar to the way the GE was. I like to hunt down, and find the item i want, that is the runescape way. Its no fun anymore if i can go get want i want instantly its just pointless and will really change the way runescape trading is, and in the long run this old school runescape will become just the same as RS3 will be which defeats the purpose of haveing this old school server up. Trade system is a big deal to mess with. Something that shouldent be messed with, just like the combat that was implemented in Rs3. Some things just need to stay the same or it will become even worse.

Merchant clans will wreck this idea. Abyssal whips will go down to 60k like they have in EOC, 2 Bil will no longer be worth anything, Jagex will start making Torva and HD graphics for 07, and thus this will soon become RuneScape 4. Very disappointed with this update.

This isn't old school anymore.

This is old school not eoc...... thats the difference so whips will still be the most used useful item in the game. Besides whips arent even worth alch value in eoc they are near one of the junkiest items in the game i'd be damned surprised if they were to ever get expensive on rs3.....
