You guys are so scared at polling the GE because you dont want it but i bet it would beat ever single trading solution you guys put in a poll everyday so please just poll it...

Yea would be nice if they polled a option just to have the ge and see how that does.

The only reason we haven't polled the GE is because we don't think it would pass. What you will see from this poll is that if you vote yes for everything, the solution will be very similar to a GE.

Actually no I read again and I think the main issue with the Auction House comes from the fact that you could be offline for the sales to go through and make profit while not being on.

Having to meet up plays a minor part in it, and the survey proved so. Most people didn't care to meet or not. People cared about not being able to profit while offline. Progressing towards your money-based goals without playing the game is a no-no. Not having to meet up isn't a big deal at all.

Switch back having to meet up and we're set.

Looks like a step backwards really, alot of people want some sort of trading solution but only under certain circumstances, but by failing the poll there will be no additional trading system so they don't want to vote no, and by voting yes they're voting yes on something they don't know how it will turn out.

I don't think any GE will really pass there's too many variables to take into consideration but this just seems like a huge step backwards from the last topic about this. Some sort of compromise on the AH would have been better than starting from scratch and basically locking people into voting for something they don't know what it'll be like

The problem with compromising the Auction House idea is that some people wanted us to compromise it one direction, and others in another direction. As there is such a range of demands for what the community wants from a trading system we think that putting the whole process in the hands of the community is the best way forward.
