Can you add permanent geomancy spell in to your house where you can check statuses of your plants even when not on lunar spellbook? Possible hotspot could be the crystal orb spot in the study or perhaps a garden hotspot (connection to the nature). Would require 100x runes required to cast the spell normally similar to portals.

I appreciate you'd like more of our time spent on the updates that are important to you. Dev time is finite, and always will be, so we have to spread our time as best as we can - I don't know of any section of the community that feels they get as much update focus as they'd really like, whether that's skillers (especially pre-2016) or wilderness PvPers (more justifiably) or slayers (hmmm) or DMM players themselves.


If Deadman continues to bring in new players, I think we as a community would find it important that it gets frequent updates. Bringing new players to the game is perhaps one of the most important things to keep this game alive and growing.

On a separate note, given that the seasonal deadman is now only around for a month, many of the new players find it natural to try to transition to the permanent deadman server. Unfortunately, many of these valuable new players become incredibly frustrated by the fact that it's seemingly impossible to get started, not even due to the fact that they get killed but because of the difficulty of getting hold of the items they need. Many of the resources are held by a single clan and given that there is no grand exchange, new players have to make enormous efforts to get started.

I feel that this is a situation very much worthwhile of being alleviated so as to give these new players a chance at continuing with the game they were excited to get started with just weeks ago.

enough with all the DMM stuff please.... its seasonal... who cares about it lol? stats get wiped anyways that's why I don't play and I don't feel like waiting 30 minutes to cash in on loot. # dead content. Can someone, please explain what this means, "Teleport and Logout timers to 7 seconds. This means that, should you force a break in combat, you'll have 3 seconds in which to escape via Teleport or Logout."

How the timer is first 7 seconds and then suddenly 3 seconds?

You'd presumably need bugfixes, though. Not all bugs are in new content; we've spent a lot of time dealing with legacy issues from 2007 and before. Also, there'd need to be a lot of interest in something to warrant splitting the community like we did when we made OSRS. Like, there were a few hundred thousand players expressing interest in getting OSRS.
I really do wonder how many people would be interested in it. From the people I've talked about it to in-game and in cc's it seemed rather 50/50. Obviously it would require membership to play and wouldn't have bonds available to it. I'm really not sure if it could split the community, if there were only one available world to play it on it'd either be at 2k constantly or just near-dead. It'd be a absolute miracle if it were possible to do this without needing a whooole lot of work to do it.

Oh well, a man can dream.

The old claim of not wanting to divide the community is blatantly false tho. They 'divided' it with DMM.
