As I just said, agility has no effect on how your run energy is used, so training agility for that reason is no argument against it. If I were to stand still and wait for my run energy to restore then sure, but I'll say it once more agility does not have an effect on how quickly or slowly run energy is used up on OSRS. JMods have confirmed this as the rest update is the update that actually made it so that agility DOES have an effect on how quick run energy is used up.

Lol you are mixing things up. Players with high agility for sure use less energy than players with lower agility.

I don't see how anyone can have an argument against the stamina potions unless you are also against energy potions. You can have infinite energy with either one and agility is useless in both cases. One just will take a rare ingredient and will cost a lot more to use but will take less invy spots for the same amount of infinite run.

Super energy pot = 20% energy from 1 sip, max 80% energy from 1 potion.

Stamina potion = 20% energy directly + 70% less energy drain for the next 2 minutes.

1 stamina potion will be equal to about 5 super energy pots. Can't do the exact math atm because pots are not out, but just to give the idea. Bottomline is that these pots give way too much energy from 1 sip, and therefore reduce the value of having a high agility level.

...Seriously?

Agility affects the rate that your run energy restores. So it helps you go from 0 - 100 run energy faster. It does not help you go from 100 - 0 slower. That's completely dependent on your weight. The heavier you are, the faster your run drains, that's why people actually buy Graceful gear and other weight reducing gear.

If someone with 1 agility weighs 0kg, they will use less run energy than a player with 99 agility who weighs 10kg.

What are the advantages of popular Agility Courses? People are putting up the statement "Stamina Potions will make other Agility Courses dead content." People will rather experience over anything. If a rooftop course is better experience, I'm going to train there. That statement doesn't make much sense to me, it doesn't benefit anyone to have more people at a certain course.

I personally would absolutely love this potion and gives those who like Agility a good benefit from a somewhat disliked skill, you can use these potions outside of the skill and it'd be extremely useful.

If it "devalues" Agility... what's wrong with that? If people are so worried about their high Agility levels being negated by the effects of the potion (not that I can understand why that is such a bad thing...) then make the potion's effect based around the percentage of the players Agility level.

Where X = Agility Level
X% for 2 minutes(?)
or
70%(?) for 2X seconds

-----------

Other than that, I would love more bank space and the other updates really don't apply to my play style so I don't really have a good opinion on them.

:)

I appreciate your input and prolonging the discussion. Some of the old agility courses are still more beneficial to use at certain levels from an experience standpoint. However most people would sacrifice that small experience boost for the opportunity to make money while training agility. Personally, I came back for old school because I loved this era. Sadly, Old School Agility will not be what it purports itself to be. I want others to be able to enjoy the "old school" agility content that I enjoyed. If you add yet another perk to the already primarily used courses then you run the risk of the old school moniker being nothing more than a euphemism. So yeah... I am salty that my favorite old school skill has almost completely lost its roots.
