Hey OSRS Team,

one suggestion:

FIRST create a "good" weapon in raids just like these ones you have, but make them trade able and not as good as these suggested ones in this dev blog.

THEN create items in raids that would be added the "good" weapons that would be consumable to make them more "powerful"

let's just be honest. you mates are merely copying the chaotic maul & chaotic/staff of light models. WE NEED SOMETHING MORE EXOTIC, rather than just filling slots in combat that "someone" believes has a void right now. new weapons ARE exciting, but let us KEEP striving towards the amazing content you boys and girls have been putting out recently!

I would like to say i like how your trying to keep things where all top tier is still viable, instead of obsolete. Now for a bit of feedback with a few thoughts, can take it with a grain of salt or turn it into serious discussion (up to you).

I was looking at the obby maul's stats vs the elder maul, and being so similar why not consider making it open for the mauler pures pulling it into heavy pvp use from the get go by dropping the atk req? A Pro of this would be creating a want for it in all levels of pvp, but also a Con would be the obby maul is now obsolete and you'll see those who are able to "buy" it wrecking havoc uncontested for a good while. So I do see a pro and a con for giving it to pures. so this thought could be good, could be bad, up to those reading it.

The Robes look very good, yet without the def bonus of ahrims gives an all out glass cannon ability vs survivability. Glad to see that. Plus the way you** chosen to add in the Dragon Pl8 is an increadibly smart way to keep the chain valuable, and needed with a pl8 on the market. Rest I have no opinion on, besides saying its nice to see them coming ingame :)

But without the cannon aspect as Kodai only has roughly a 2% higher hit chance than Ah, which is barely noticeable if at all.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

I see you guys took my suggestion for the Elder's Staff and replaced it with the Elder Wand.

My idea made it to where magic wouldn't be abused even further by rushers... but now you have given ancient magicks the 15% damage boost without any attack requirement to wield the wand.


For the actual requirements and benefits of the Elder Staff - which would make a high end weapon for Magic that fulfills the needs of a standalone mage because of its special attack (80% spec bar) that is unusable and undesirable to AGS/Ballista rushers - please revisit my thread.

i would love for the dragon platebody to be released for oldschool the only problem I have is that the dragon platelegs don't have the spikes on the knees like they did in 08 which is when the dragon platebody was released is their any way you could put spikes on the knees?

I'm very disappointed with the direction these developer blogs seem to be wanting to take the game in. The majority of these rewards will be useless unless you're a pure (most people are not) or cosmetics, which most of the master clue rewards were that were just released a few days ago! WE DON'T NEED MORE COSMETICS. As for the prayers, all of them suck except two. I don't know who came up with these but it's pretty blatant that there are only two that will matter.

The elder wand is the item every account - main or pure - will be after, because it's too strong. What was the point in releasing the staff of the dead if you were just gonna make it not BIS? There will literally be zero point in doing zammy GWD.

The game must evolve to survive, and I understand that aspect. But raids need to stay out of old school runescape. They do not belong. If we wanted to raid, we would play normal runescape and dungeoneer our heart out. That's not why I came to this game.

Very against a lot of these newer tier weapons here is why.

You are removing the useage of staff of the dead entirely by making this WAND as powerful and fast as the staff which doesn't make much sense.

Obviously the wand should be better for magic, i like the ignore water rune and the ability to auto cast ancients, however i am so against the power creep of
EVERY OTHER MAGIC ITEM EVER.


MAybe you could balance this by giving it negative bonuses to defense. Or just not giving it the staff of the dead stats. which is again, stupid.


The chaotic maul doesn't need to come to oldschool
, if you want to bring it in. like i said with the last weapon, make it have some penalty as to weilding it. otherwise you just give players better ko options for free with no kind of penalty to running amok among players and monsters which isn't smart. look at what happened with the blow pipe day of release. no one could compete. *btw speed isn't the only thing that can make a weapon op.*


Finally I dont mind any of the
dragon
items coming in but what is up with those awful prayers?

Give us a SUPER watered down soul split or something because That is useful, fun, and really makes the game interesting and more intense and better high level content.

Just saying

that's my real complains with this update.

ALSO the mage robes should use ahrims to be made so ahrims isn't useless.
