Was expecting a little more excitement from these rewards. The magic and ranged prayers are a nice addition, along with the mage armor, but everything else just looks like it wont be worth the high level requirement of the raids

I would like it better if the high level items degraded.

Or maybe have them made from cloth/shards and you can charge them with the same items they are made from.

The unchanged robes stats could be just under barrows and when charged higher like you list above or maybe a tiny bit higher still.

I guess this is the same as the Zula items in efect.

I'm a big fan of most of this. However, adding Rigour and Augury would really counterbalance the combat triangle.

Right now, max mages hit 37s with Occult and SOT*. Augury would make that so much more accurate, and with insignias as well, that would be another huge add-on, not to mention SOT* pures who hit 37s at 45/50 combat, and the trident, which hits 39s in pvm.

Can you imagine getting hit 90s by a ballista-wielding void ranger? Rigour with the +20 and +23 stats would make this weapon way overpowered. If the ballista is nerfed before introducing this prayer that would be best.

your ignorance is showing with your lack of observations and inferences and also taking into consideration that you can only read black and white. No, these updates are not turning rs into **c or rs3 directly, but the changes that they open the game up to are highly unnecessary and only put osrs on the path to following suit with rs3. You come from eoc or something? I don't understand how one could be so blind.

Why not make the dragon platebody be seperated into 2 pieces? Like the bludgeon, you would require 3 pieces to make the platebody: a dragon chainbody, and 2 additional pieces coming from raids. And then, you could only make it on a special furnace/anvil with a high smithing requirement?
That would make it more valuable and would be a nice thing in my opinion.

Everything looks good to me, let's hope it passes :)

Why does everything new have to be split into multiple pieces? Can't we just have items that drop? If the worry is that it's too easy... make them rarer.

Don't even consider adding raids into oldschool. Quit trying to think of new ways to enhance a game that we wanted to stay the same for the last 8 years. Is Jagex forgetting why they brought oldschool here to begin with??????

I second. Sounds like a World of Warcraft thing... New pvm bosses is fine and all, but the community doesn't want major changes to gameplay.

Augury will be 5% more accurate than mystic might, which considering the much higher prayer requirement alongside the more rapid prayer drain..is very reasonable. It will not be "much more" accurate. I'm suspecting the accuracy difference against most opponents will be no more then 2-3%, if even that.

As for as the trident hitting 39s in PvM. Melee hits close to 50s in PvM and with a lower cost.

Ballista will still be weaker than AGS. Rigour will be around 8% stronger than eagle eye when damage is concerned. If nerfs are done, it should be done with rigour, bringing it down to a 5% increase.

Because we wanted a game that didn't have eoc, that's it. Was you under the impression that it was for another reason?
OSRS Mage Tank.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.
