Also, I am not against adding a new skill, but I find it biased that players who do not want a new skill have no option to vote "I do not want a new skill."

So much of this^

Also most of teh posts wont load properly so i dont even know what any of teh options are

I don't think we need any kind of new skill on oldschool but if we must choose one -> Go go Astronomy :D :D (but it should have some activity inside the wilderness and, all items should be tradable).
We should have an option to vote NO tho.

I do think we need more RuneScape Map so if the skill comes along with the new map portions I wouldn't mind.

With 400+ submissions I'm surprised that Jagex felt they could narrow it down to just 5 submissions for us to vote from. Why not select 10-20 for the community and have an informal discussion topic similar to this for those initial skill designers to have a chance to re-develop their skill based on the community feedback. From reading the comments there appear to have been fairly supported skills that were not on this list and I would have liked a chance to vote on more than 5. From my perspective it appeared as a divide between geomancy and artisan after reading the five skill topics. Because Artisan begins with an "a" it was selected to be the first skill in the drop down menu and in the skill order. Humans remember what they read first and read last which is giving it an unfair advantage over all the other skills. The fact that geomancy still has a significant number of votes goes to show how much it caught the fancy of the players even after reading 2 detailed skill posts.

My personal assessment of the Artisan skill is:
It's just like slayer which the Jmods have already said is a favorite skill so the designer knew it had a high likelihood of passing if he designed it like slayer (lack of originality).
It goes against the spirit of OSRS by increasing the total xp earned for completing a task.
Copies the task system already seen in RS3.

Geomancy:
Poor choice in skill name
Also goes against the spirit of OSRS by affecting combat skills.
Very detailed and seems complicated to do the imbuing process.

Anyways I'm disappointed in jagex for selecting only 5, for selecting only 2 competitive skills, and for not attempting to remove bias based on reading order.

Where are the video entries that myself (Conventicle) and OldSchoolRsVids made? I am quite disappointed considering all of the positive feedback we both got from the community. Where is the Swimming and Producer Skill?

I appreciate everyone's effort on these skills, but they are all no votes from me. Not deep enough, not useful enough, and overall just plain not "old school". How about the devs work on fixing current content instead of wasting any resources on these lame duck skills?

I have to agree with infidelity about the different things to vote on. I wish there was an option to vote no. Also the guys coming up with the ideas did an awesome job with the perimeters they were given. I would not enjoy redoing skills I have already done just to level new skill. The agility rooftops were a great addition but they did take away from the other agility. Please don't change the game so much that all we are doing is gathering xp faster and faster.

If you had paid attention you would've known that after the winner of these 5 is selected, another poll will be held. If less than 80% votes it in, it's not happening. So you'll get your choice to vote no eventually :) Realists Clan - FC: Realists

Omg those are really really bad.. these aren't skills.. its just a bunch of grinding tasks!
Please let 07 as it is and update the skills we already have!

Or bring enchanting or something like that in the game
