What exactly is the point of this one, other than tanks and lower level players having equal chance of receiving the loot? I'd still be afraid to do corp or gwd with random players. This system doesn't get rid of scammers.

That said, i will still vote yes.

In the last dev blog I was against everything they suggested. Now I read 'teams can compete with solo players' and every one of my no's have turned to yes.... Which made me wonder and then I figured it out: LS isn't the solution to the problem they claim it will solve.

Why lootshare to prevent scamming if you can use the dev time to implement better clan options making it more enticing for people to seek out clans. This would not prevent scamming but this is an MMO and like in the real world you're going to meet good and bad people. So please, without meaning this an angry way, stop trying to make the game something it is not.

My suggestions are just a start but add:
-rank symbols next to name in chat
-chat options that only certain ranks can see e.g. "/3s <message>" is only viewable by 3 banana's and up
-have channels inside clan chats
-more than 100 people (probably engine work)
-etc.

So much possibilities get clans to grow, to stop more and more scammers (who often work on their own or in small groups) and help people find friends at the same time.

Seeing as damage isn't being pooled this time round, I'll most likely be voting yes.

Few questions though:

If question 2 doesn't pass, is it just going to assign everyone in the team a number and roll a virtual die with that many sides? So you'll average 1/5 of the drops in a 5 man team, etc.

If someone leaves/re-enters a chat, will LootShare instantly turn off (as it used to), or will the cool-down take account of this?

Can we have some sort of icon in the friends chat (next to each player's name) that changes depending on whether LootShare is on/off/turning on/turning off?
