I'd like to propose a solution that addresses all areas of concern. But its not perfect.
*have a list of all high value item drops. These are big single stack drops. 5m+ (possibly)
>this list of item are invoked on drop and on lootshare
*On drop, the item is converted into a split of 100 staclable parts and divided evenly
>when team has "prime number" of players, add 1 part to the highest rank or a random team member, doesn't matter
*item is traded among players but not in ge
*players can use 100 split of an item to exchange to a bank/ge
*optional* item part expires in 24hrs to 7 days for the rarest items, this is to add urgency and cooperation with the team
lets call this item "partite(s)" and lets add context:
>a bandos chest plate is dropped on a team of 5 with lootshare on
>each of the 5 team members receive 20 bandos chest plate partites
>they eventually meet at the bank/ge
>team leader BUYS 20 bandos chest plate from the rest of the team, 80 from the team and 20 of his own, totaling 100 bandos chest partite
>team leader exchanges 100 bandos chest plate partites for a bandos chest plate
Note: Upside - having expirable partites encourages players to exchange the partite sooner rather than later. Downside - on a rare occasion bitterness between players could result in one or more players not trading in their partites with the team leader and disagreements on its current value rather than GE value. However, I still prefer expirable partites because this situation is extremely unlikely since it will hurt both parties who do not cooperate with the intended purpose of the partite system.
Note2: The list of items dropped into partites should be high value items 5m or more (open to suggestion), everything below 5m should go through the LP system. This is basically lootshare and coinshare combined.
