Dear Jagex, I Understand LootShare may not have won on the poles but could you Reconsider bringing lootshare back to 2007? Let me tell you a story, one day I went to saradomin duoing with a friend when some random guy comes in and helps us for 2 hours. He then got a Saradomin Hilt drop and left without splitting. That was upsetting. But what was more upsetting was trusting my bossing friend by bringing him along on a trio armadyl trip. What do ya know? he got the Arma hilt. Since I thought he was trustworthy I said to myself Awesome! 19m split. But........ then he logged off and we never saw him again. Lesson of all this.... Only boss with IRL Friends!!!

Please Bring LootShare Back To Oldschool Runescape

point 4, has not been dealt with. the only fair way to combat this would be a shard option (like RS3)


1. Loot share worlds would also fix this issue. The current system and the one being polled only benefits end game players. A level 120 should not be able to crash 4 level 100's.

2. Regarding people "leaching" drops, you chose who you PvM with. Loot share won't make you do Armadyl with someone wearing d'hide and archer helm.

3. Boss specific LSP would fix this.

4. Shard share is an awful idea. Instant share as described in a previous dev blog would stop the scamming without adding shards into the game, which creates their own set of problems. But as stated by Jagex neither one can be added without a loot share base.

To all those that say a lvl 120 should not be able to crash lower lvls etc etc. I mean that's the way the world works. Getting crashed is part of the difficulty of obtaining loot. It only makes sense that someone with better stats and better equipment should have a better chance at drops.

Also, many of you are forgetting

LS* was only necessary when THERE WAS NO FREE TRADE. Now what's going to happen is two people are going to LSP duo an item (i.e. bandos tassets). They're going to split it and the guy who got the LSP is going to go join some mass and steal all the loot there.

Anyways, that's what I'm planning on doing with a buddy if this passes.

Dear Jagex,
Being in an active clan I appreciate the need of lootshare/coinshare on oldschool runescape.
I understand there are people who both support and oppose the idea, however this can be resolved simply in one of two ways.
1. create some worlds as designated lootshare worlds, therefore solo/duo pvmers can still do bossing without being affected.
2. similar to how it was before eoc, have the option to turn lootshare off/on.
If someone wants to boss without lootshare they can leave it off and carry on as normal.

I have played the game for over a decade, and in my honest opinion Rs3 was an amazing game prior to eoc, the introduction of dungeoneering was an amazing idea, and has been encorporated into the osrs as raids, through the request of players.
It is for these reasons I request lootshare to be introduced to the game.
