Continued:

Coinshare will only fail when items actual value deviate largely from market price on GE for a long time. Consider an extreme example, a rock which is literally useless with 0 bid offer in GE, is 1b each. People keep farming for the rock using coinshare. Since no one is buying it on GE, it stays at 1b permanently and everytime one uses coinshare to obtain the rock, 1b is generated while no useful item is produced. Then it will cause inflation.

This can easily resolved by instantshare, which only match with highest GE offer. In this case, no one is buying it, so 0 cash will be dropped, nothing will impact the economy.

Hmm. I want to know how it would affect pet drops. Will it go to the person randomly? Or who dealt the most damage.Because if its random then it wouldn't matter anymore what role you are at gwd-attacker or tank. And if LS passes then can you poll coinshare?

stupid voting system... a lot of people don't boss or pvm so will just vote no or skip question. I can't see why anyone else would vote no to lootshare, I won't be wasting time bossing for hours or days just to get scammed. what a joke

Say I'm soloing bandos, and a team decides they want to crash my world. If I stick around and try to finish my solo trip will my drops be affected if i'm not in their friends chat but still deal the most damage? So, if I deal the most damage but am not in the friends chat, will the loot still be sent to a random player or myself the solo?

I'd personally rather see shard share than lsp. I'd also rather see pooled team damage. What is this? Didn't shard share pass in the poll two weeks back? Lsp is a very bad loot share system, might as well not have loot share.

I think that LSP should be individual for each instance or boss, such as GWD and Corp Beast being separate. Meaning that it would not increase the chance of receiving drops from bosses based on LSP gained from a completely different boss.

Well, I thought i'd pipe up for the first time in a long time...

the main problems with LS in RS2 were:
1- teams could crash and take over worlds where someone was soloing / during.
2- too many people leeched drops
3- whenever I gained LSP i ended up getting kicked from teams because i was getting all the drops, despite just missing a notable drop like a sigil (not that it was my fault).
4- scamming was still a big thing, especially with teams of random people

so it looks like point 1 has been dealt with
point 2 is a big pet hate of mine, why should i use super combat pots, piety and someone bowl up with a combat pot and only pray mage, i'll be using all my supplies to get them a drop.
point 3 however although fair, didn't please many teams when someone turns up with a shed load of LSP.
point 4, has not been dealt with. the only fair way to combat this would be a shard option (like RS3)

My proposal would be the basic LS system as being currently polled, but the team leader can set a threshold %age of damage to be eligible for the drop (for example a team of 5, minimum contribution 15% (determined by team leader and agreed with the team who will all be aware of the threshold requirement)). That way if your team has a tank who's unlikely to do much damage you can set the threshold low, whereas a DPS boss such as corp you can increase the threshold to prevent leachers getting loot they don't deserve.
A shard system should also be implemented for notable drops to prevent scamming, and remove the LSP element.

Oh, and one more thing, i think the boss KC should be given to the player with the most damage, and also the pet chance for them (unless they already have the pet, then it can be distributed to the 2nd most damage)

there should be no instance option in order to protect the economy as much as possible.

for this reason i voted no to LS in its current state. make some tweaks and a yes vote would follow.

Here is a perfect example of the idiots who are voting no to lootshare. Jagex please make this decision on your own.
