Hello, as someone who just returned to RS after long years of absence and PvM'ed ALOT before EoC...
Heres my opinion, regarding Lootshare:
If Jagex is clearly trying to implement RAIDS in OSRS, then Lootshare will end up being needed to split those big splits, so i clearly do believe that at the moment, every team in OSRS is pretty much a FFA team that goes bossing.
The truth is, everyone has their preferences (from solo/duo/trio/team etc) on their bosses, and everyone wants to get a chance of fighting the high leveled bosses.
Lootshare will end up being needed, and LSPoints will too. Why ?
Simply for the fact that people are temperamental, and if the the drop chance is based 100/N (Where N = number of members on a team) then the system will end up as a flaw on the long run. Simply for the fact that one team member will always have the same chance to receive another drop even if he already got one.
Which at the pov of the player that got the drop, is fair.
But at the pov of the rest of the team, its unfair.
So at the end of the day, Lootshare will pass and Coinshare will return to the game.
If lootshare returns without LSP's, then there's no point of running LS since it will be pretty much of a FFA team. (the only difference is that you cant lie on what drop ended up on the floor).
Sugestions as everyone as already said:
1) X LSP's to X bosses. (avoiding LSP farming).
2) Coinshare applied directly to the G.E (item goes to the G.E, sold at medium price).
2.1) Money doesn't actually dissapear from the game, its just 1 player 50m divided by 5 players which is 10m. 10m x 5 = 50m.
3) Damage count due to crashing (it was like that in the past, strongest team wins, seems fair to me.)
That's all.
