Unfortunately I'm going to vote no, but let me explain why. Most people go bossing with their clans and are expected to split with tanks anyways so lootshare isn't entirely necessary to add just for the sake of "tanks dont get any loot", because they do typically. Now that you won't be adding team damage, lootshare won't be used for anti-crashing which is really the only real purpose I can see it being added (unless lootshare is the precursor to instantshare), in which case instantshare should just be polled whether you need to create lootshare in order for instantshare to work or not. If instantshare passes, develop the technology for lootshare, don't use it (unless it passes a poll) and the continue through lootshare on your way to instantshare. Also, without LSP there is literally no incentive to lootshare unless you're the tank in a FFA. That's literally the only 1 scenario lootshare is worth using, and unless instantshare passes a poll I don't really want dev time wasted on creating lootshare with little to no purpose. Just my two cents, hope it helps clarify why lootshare really doesn't serve as great of a purpose as the dev blog makes it seem to be.
Basically it comes down to, I'd rather have 100% chance of getting a split of large item than a 33% chance of receiving the whole item and in order to do that I need to go with a team that doesn't want to use lootshare and so it's a waste of developers time (for me), and that's why i'll vote no. Rather have the dev team working on something that improves my game play like instantshare.
a note on instantshare, it should only go to the highest current offer if that offer is within a certain % of market price and if it's too far below that % than it is randomly given to one player on the team and hopefully that team will split evenly how they would have before instantshare. That would make sure instantshare isn't exploited by merchers, and wont mess up the economy.
