Just curious; why include the arbitrary restriction for pures?

I've noticed that the Necromancy Spellbook's Ape Atoll teleport also requires Daero's training to be used. I don't understand the need for this arbitrary restriction, considering the fact that to use the spell already requires 90 Magic and Arceuus favor.

If you didn't want pures to have access to Ape Atoll, why not require Daero's training before accessing the island in the first place? This doesn't make sense from a lore perspective nor from a balancing perspective.

Please reconsider.

it was done so that the island would be a reward for those that did defense. if the spell didn't require daero's training, it would be a back door to allow pures onto the island AGAINST the votes. it was polled and repolled that counts as reconsidering and both times the answer was no. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Don't be ridiculous! Pures getting access to Ape Atoll doesn't imbalance the game.

This type of rhetoric is always spewed out from people who have no idea what they're talking about.

All it would do is allow us to complete the RFD subquest and get access to adamant gloves and another method of agility training. It's not going to suddenly make pures unstoppable.

As a matter of fact, pures aren't even as powerful as people make them out to be. They have less bonuses than other builds do to not having better gear and equipment. The main purpose is that pures can fight each other in a fast paced battle where there is constantly high hits. This is much different than when two main accounts are fighting each other and constantly hitting 0's while maintaining full health.

This whole nonsense about pures wanting to much and limiting themselves is bs. The whole point is to be able to build your account how you want. Having quest REWARD limit that doesn't make sense. Of course, greedy people who only care about themselves wouldn't understand.

It shouldn't even be polled. Asking this is like asking for equal rights for black people, or equal rights for women. It's obviously logical to give them equal rights, but the majority are selfish and greedy.

This is not something that should be polled, it should simply be done. If Jagex made a poll asking if we should eliminate pures from the game, that would probably get the same supporters who don't want pures to get back to Ape Atol. They must be Trump supporters, SMH.

Pures don't deserve high lvl content.
They CHOOSE to be limited, so that's their problem, not everyone else's...

And don't pull the "Ironman shouldn't get updates" crap either.
Ironman is an official game mode, Pures are not.

If they someday make a Pures Mode, then there will be a reason to make special allowances, but till then, too bad.
