First, Jagex please stop. Send your developers to rs3. WE DONT WANT BIS ITEMS. You're progressing down the path all to familiar.. We want osrs.. Not Zeah.. not Zulrah.. Not BIS crap (Bludgeon, Abyssal Dagger, SPIRIT SHIELDS, Tridents, Staff of the deads..Cmon..). If you're gonna take osrs away, open the private server back up so we can go back to it.

Second, if you want onyx sink.. Just take them off Zulrah drop table.. My god. Simple. It would still make the profit snake the easiest money making in the game.

Third, I do like the ballista idea for the sole reason of giving javs a purpose of being in the game.

Fourth, the jewelry is just recycled content from rs3.. I don't even play it and went and researched it.. Might as well just relabel the jewelry as hydrix. Smh. The only viable one is the ranging amulet-like jewelry to offset Occult.

Last, I love the guy's recommendation of crystal scimmy to end the Monkey Madness and Elve's quest lines. It gives scimmys a relevancy again, ends those quest lines that we enjoyed (and annoyed by) and doesn't add new BIS crap we don't already need.

STOP listening to the kids who started in '10. They didn't enjoy 07SCAPE like we did. Listen to the community who won't quit if you don't update the game.. Not the community who will jump ship bc they focus on "bis/afkscape/no-xp-waste".. That isn't oldschool.

I just came back not to long ago to OSRS because Rs3 is complete trash from what we know.

First of all, you said you will keep the game as it was, OLD SCHOOL RUNESCAPE OF 2007.

Secondly, you said you will not be adding Godwars. Then you said no Grand Exchange. Then you said no Corporal Beast. Then Zulrah and as I came back now there is a Dragon War Hammer....? Like, what the hell man.

You people say this is our game which means we dictate the rules. I understand the need for getting rid of some excess items in the game but at the same time 2007 did not have such things.

We should have known better than to believe that you people would stay true to your word. How can you not see that the people who actually enjoyed 07 back then are not the ones asking for these ridiculous updates? You have people playing this game from 2010 asking for stuff that did not need to be in this game. Corporal Beast should have been the end of things but no I guess that wasn't enough. Don't get me wrong a fix here and there WHERE BROKEN is adequate enough.

This is De-Ja-Vu. Mark my words guys, OSRS won't be Old school for much longer. Hopefully I'm gone again before this happens.

Have a good day guys.

NO! Stop adding this kind of rubbish to OSRS, are your devs bored? Have them work on RS3, leave OSRS alone for gods sake.

You guys started OSRS because of a certain private server that you shut down and stole their idea, now you're slowly killing OSRS with all these new updates, please stop this.

I am quite upset at the prospect of another quest getting added to old school. In no way does adding a quest keep old school runescape "old school". This change, in my mind, is just like adding a second Jad, which the community thankfully voted down. Often Jagex has these "wonderful" ideas they believe the community will want, but what's not considered is whether or not we are happy with the current state of the game.

With every poll we seem to be moving away from the old school concept. Quality of life updates are one thing, but adding in new quests is where I draw the line. Runescape 3 should be the focus of updated quests, skills, bosses, and more. With the addition of zul'rah and zeah, the concept of an old school server has already been adversely *********.

The purpose of old school was not to give Jagex a second change at developing a game they had messed up by alienating players from a perfectly suitable platform. Let players come up with the ideas for polls, either by some submission method or deriving suggestions from the forums. Keep old school runecsape old school by keeping it simple, not by consistently adjusting its content to a point where there are weekly polls and weekly changes.

I will be voting no, and asking everyone I know to vote no, and even people I don't know to vote no. If this quest doesn't pass, let it be a clear signal from the community that they want to keep the number of quests at the point they are currently at.

OKaY! now is the time to either stop acting under the name of oldschool runescape which isn't and come out and say that osrs is not osrs and will not be but an alternative form of rs3 which will progressively be achieved through useless updates. get out of oldschool runescape!

I think too many of you are mistaken in the concept of OSRS. I don't know if you simply weren't here when Jagex announced that they were going to poll and see if players wanted the addition of OSRS or not. In their announcement Jagex specifically said that if the concept garnered enough support there would be a development team that would not only fix bugs but also do "regular content updates." Meaning that from the start we all knew that there would be a dev team adding additional content. I for one fully support the decision. I started playing OSRS the day it came out and quit after about 5 months when I realized the only things I had to look forward to for all my grinding was the ability to wear a d-chain and killing Kalphite Queen as the hardest boss in the game. There needs to be new content and new items to grind for or the game will get stale. I don't think the OSRS team should poll for the addition of BIS items. The majority of people won't care because they haven't gotten to the point where there is no new content for them to grind to. And those that have gotten to the point of needing new items and skills to grind for are very few. They are the ones who want this update as they are the ones affected primarily.

Must not have been around when osrs was actually oldschool in 2007 then. We looked forward to getting a whip/dchain and then enjoying the game freely after that..

Guess you missed that era.

I have been playing since 2003 and sure it's nice grinding to get a whip and d-chain but then what do you do after that? What other items do you grind for? And that doesn't change my argument. From the start we all knew there were going to be content updates to OSRS
